I rarely write reviews, but this Hibbent toilet seat bolt kit deserves praise. My toilet seat had been loose for months, and the cheap plastic bolts it came with kept loosening no matter how much I tightened them. I finally decided to try this kit—and I’m so glad I did. Installation was a breeze. The kit includes everything you need: stainless steel bolts, extra-long downlock nuts, rubber washers, and gaskets. Have 3 toilets with bidets. The plastic parts to hold the toilet seats never held correctly. One sitting and you're sideways. No matter how many times the plastic junk was tightened, it didn't hold. Typical replacement parts are not long enough to accommodate the extra bidet parts. However, these bolts worked wonderfully. Easy to install - took less than 10 minutes (it DID take about a half hour to get the stripped plastic bolts off tho). Did I mention I'm an over 65 woman?? Held tightly, Didn't need to worry about gripping the bottom part with the wrench and stripping the screw in part due to the smart design. Included installation pictures accurately described how to install. Bolts were long enough to go thru both the toilet seat and bidet parts. And, not that you really see them, the parts you do see look sleek and clean. Very happy with this purchase and will be replacing the plastic junk in the other two bathrooms with this very sturdy, well worth the price, product. And no, I'm not getting a discount for writing this, didn't get them on sale or for free. This my honest opinion. 3 weeks after having a brand new toilet installed and after listening to the fancy self-closing lid/seat squeak every time I sat down, I was taking care of business when bam! We moved into a new place and the first thing that happened was upon sitting on the toilets, the cheap studs plastic studs broke on 2 of the 3 chairs. If we were all fat, I could point a finger at us being the problem but both chairs broke while in use by 90-110lbs people. I didn't want to deal with replacing with plastic ones again... no one wants to have them break again and risk sliding off the bowl halfway through lunch birth... So I found these sturdy metal seat studs. They will never break, The toilet could be thrown from the roof and the studs could be reused... Metal is the way to go!
