I was on the fence about this for a while. I'm so glad I finally got it. IT. FITS. PERFECTLY!!! I'm 5'3", 130lbs and ordered a small. It hit just below my calf muscle. I received a million compliments wearing it. It's cute as a swimsuit cover-up, but way cuter over a tank top and shorts. With a swimsuit, it covers everything nicely while remaining cute. If you want it to stay closed if you are fresh from the water, add a hairpin. But seriously, this cover-up is EVERYTHING as a wardrobe add on! It's light, flowey and airy. I spotted this and the floral pattern reminded me of this and last season's Gucci collections and some Gucci scarves I have seen. It's very inspired. I thought there were more colors in this when I got it, but it's limited however it will go with many things- jeans, olive, navy, burgundy and some pastels and white. it's cute and true to size. Absolutely LOVELY! I am a bigger girl and even on me the fit was loose and flowy. Also, based on previous reviews I expected this to be cheap/flimsy and only good for one use. However, while the material isn't "sturdy," it's certainly durable enough to wear repeatedly. A couple times on my first wear I accidentally caught it or tugged it and thought "oh well, NOW it's gonna rip" but it didn't. It's still in one piece after a full day's wear and constant tugging/pulling/catching. This is a good buy. Read more
I had really high hopes for this kimono after seeing all the hype for it, but it just didn’t work for me. The pattern and colors are really nice, but it’s way too big on me, and the length hits me at an awkward place. For reference, I’m 5’3 and 130 lbs and ordered the small. I’m not a picky person at all when it comes to garment fabrics, but something about this particular chiffon was not appealing. It’s almost...scratchy? And I think because it was so voluminous on me, it didn’t drape the way I expected, our how nicely it does on so many of the women in these photos. I would say if you don’t mind a slightly stiff fabric for your kimono and you’re a bit taller and curvier than me, go for it. The print really is nice if you can pull off the design/size of it.
