If I would have known how many channels were still available for free, much less how easy it would be to install an antenna, I would’ve done this so so long ago. Ages ago. I barely paid attention to the install instructions, although they were so very easy. No long booklet of 15 different languages, simple steps that were very user-friendly and how to get set up quickly. The antenna itself is smaller than I expected, which I was happy about. I didn’t pay attention to the measurements listed. I thought it needed to be tall for a signal, I thought it was going be some odd looking thing I was going to have in a weird space out in the open. That could potentially look phallic. 😂 When in actuality, it is so small that it blends in with decor that I have around my television and you can’t even see it. I had no issues with having to find a spot for it to be a clear picture. The first place I put it. It worked perfectly with crystal clear reception. I don’t know if this is because I have windows in my living room, but I was just shocked and so happy about how easy it was to connect. The instructions say to have it as high as possible, so right now it is on a bookshelf, but, again, because it’s so discreet in size you can’t even see it mixed in with my bookshelf decor. These streaming companies that charge $90 a month JUST so you can see local news, I don’t understand how it’s legal according to FCC. Which, by the way, I checked, the FCC doesn’t regulate pricing of any kind for streaming services, nor what they offer. That’s another topic, but how is that legal? I’m currently on limited income and canceled all streaming services that aren’t somehow discounted by other membership, etc.. I also had some of my streaming services on auto draft and didn’t realize how expensive they had become. Ignorance is bliss, actually no it’s not. Even when I get into a better financial situation, I will not pay for those streaming services again. I’m able to watch local news, which means I can watch for the tornado warnings that I will have this afternoon. As opposed to some of the other “free live TV” streaming that shows “local news” for, yes, I counted, 22 other cities that mean nothing to my local safety or community. One time investment of $19, vs minimum of $89 a month. No counting the free coverage of some football games when the cheapest o found for just one sports channel was $20 a month. The only semi trick to setting it up was really based on my TV, and it had nothing to do with this product. Even then it just took 2 to 5 minutes of patience and reading through the e-manual on my Samsung. Hint: you have to find the feature that has your television search for all updated channels, no matter the connectivity. I also thought that I would have to change the source or input on my remote when I wanted to watch local TV from the antenna coverage, no it loaded into my TVs free channel lineup. So no flipping over even from source/input. Wish I would’ve done this years ago, and certainly will keep it no matter when better financial days 🙏🏻 come my way. Read more

HIDB TV Antenna for Smart TV Indoor, Digital Indoor HD Antennas with Strong Magnetic Base, Easy Installation, Long Range Reception for Local Channels 4K 1080P, 10ft Long Cables (Black) is a great over-the-air television antenna. It is very compact and has a magnetic mounting base should you choose to use it. I took at least four tries to find the correct spot to place the antenna to receive strong television signals. I live 45 miles South of Boston, Massachusetts and once I found the best space for the antenna, it worked like a charm as it received 41 over-the-air crystal clear local television channels. It included the 3 major television networks and many other independent channels too! This antenna was key to receiving free over-the-air television and not depending on expensive cable television! Does a great job, especially for the money and the size. I live high enough in Salt Lake Valley that it works fantastic the people that say it doesn’t work or living with too many walls too low in a valley et cetera et cetera, they need a conventional aerial. It’s not the antenna’s fault. It’s the part of town they’re in. Does a great job, comes in every bit as clear as any aerial would bring it in, surround sound. Everything is fantastic. Read more

Easy to install, I was able to get 64 channels right away. It’s a good idea to try it in different spots if you are able to do so. Nice long cord. Well worth the price. Delivered as promised. Read more

So far, so perfect. The antenna is much smaller than I expected it to be - which is GREAT. The television in the pic is 64". The set up couldn't be easier and the ONE cord is just the right length - not obnoxiously long with components hanging off like so many other HD antennas. Best part: so far I get all major network channels without having to adjust the antenna after changing channels and the reception is totally clear - no pixels or audio/visual interruption in broadcast. Ordered another one right before writing this review. Hope the quality continues! Read more

Sturdy! Excellent cable and cable nut-more valuable than you think. Provides excellent reception compared to older wall antennas. Sets firm on a desk or can be attached to solid metal fixture. Mine sets on the TV table behind the TV and works perfectly. Highly recommend! Read more

Doesn’t really work well where I am. My local hockey team signed a deal with a local broadcast channel and it isn’t on my TV provider’s lineup. Sometimes this will pick up the channel, sometimes the channel completely disappears and I have to tune the receiver again. It was inexpensive and I got what I paid for. It’s small and the magnet is strong. The cable is RG59 so it’s harder to extend it and keep the signal quality. Would probably be good for an RV or camper. Read more

I live 50 miles from the nearest tv transmission tower. This antenna almost worked. It picked up about 30 channels. I was able to watch some football on Sunday, but the transmission wasn’t perfect. The audio was fine, but every few seconds, the video stuttered (froze and resumed with a short skip). Did research and found out that at my distance, I really need an amplified antenna that connects to power. This one is not amplified. In addition, I could only get a signal by resting it on my window sill on top of the bottom window. Given that, and the distance that I need to pickup the transmission from, I’m returning this one and buying an amplified one that I can stick to my window. Still gave it 5 stars since anyone closer to their nearest tower will likely get a solid product that gets the job done. Just check online how far you are from a transmission source and get an amplified one instead if you’re out of range. Note that the advertised range is with perfect conditions (line of site at elevation with no obstructions). Read more
