Ive had this device for about a year amd a half and have put off my review for this long in order to give it a chance... but it's been long enough. So many things are inadequate when it comes to this camera. For starters, it is difficult to discern how to properly operare it from the clearly poorly translated instruction manual. Once you get past the fact that it doesn't come with arguably the most important component - the memory card - you have a 'functional' camera. How long would you say a hidden camera should operate on its own power? Would you say 1 hour? How about just a vague shrug? Because that's what you get with this device! On a full charge, it will continually record 720p video anywhere from 1-4 hours. And, yes, there's no way to tell when it has decided to quit working! Want motion detection? Too bad! I tested the detection out several times, and there seems to be no apparent, consistent trigger for it to work. Sometimes it would catch me, sometimes not. Again, wonderfully unreliable! Want to use the advertised night vision mode? Great! Just make sure whatever you want to see is taking place within two feet of the camera! Otherwise, you will just get poor audio recording with a black screen. To top things off, I still have not been able to get the time stamp function to accurately display the time. You have to update a texr file thru the USB connection, but thanks to the vague instructions, I still haven't been able to synchronize it. There's a mode that just takes pictures. I'm not sure how well it works, haven't tried it. You can apparently connect the camera to external power via usb, but the cord it comes with is only ~1 foot long, so you will need a separte usb extender in order to adequately hide it. It does come with a wall mount, but really what's the point if you have to take it down every hour or so to make sure it hasn't turned off??? Read more

Excellent little device which works incredibly well. Have to follow instructions, but it's easy enough to figure out. The device is concealable even if out in the open; it's easily overlooked, because it's so small. But the picture is fantastic. It has a wider field than one might think. Easy enough to charge. Requires 32 GB memory card and you'll need an adapter (to transfer image to computer via USB, for instance), which is another $10 maybe. I think it's possible to plug the camera directly into computer so that's another way of going. There are YouTube tutorials, but the instruction sheet that comes with the device is pretty thorough. Highly recommended (there are several choices but this seems to be typical). Read more

I like the cheap price. Other than that I cant say much about these. The instructions are so poorly written I cant get this do anything. I understand, it ia made in China. But geeze, doesnt anyone there understamd English? The way instructions are translated are awful. I hope I can get it figured out to find out if the camera actually works! Got it started. Night vision is all green screen. Cannot get it restarted after putting in new SD card. Dont waste your money on these, they are horrible. Unfortunatly, I bought 3 of them. So I got screwed 3 times. No matter how long you charge the micro camera, it does not work continuously. The camera keeps shutting itself off with no pattern so one can resolve the problem. I got the video motion detection working but it would only record 1-3 events and then shut off. Each event would record for approximately 60 seconds. The video and audio were acceptable. So I cannot tell if the 100 minutes of recording (from a previous review) is all the motion detection one will get. Each motion detection test I ran the camera battery was fully charged. I have not been able to get the Motion Detection Mode to produce good results. You would be just as good to put the camera on record and accept your 100 minutes of battery life recording. That will be my next testing of the camera. The instruction video was no help. The instruction sheet is written in micro font so good luck being able to read the instructions. Plus, the instructions are poorly written. The camera has the potential to be a great product but unfortunately it is not. Read more
