Works as advertised, however it does take some time to learn how each mode works, limitations of each mode, and using each mode effectively in real world scenarios. This little nifty device is a must-have if you are concerned about your privacy and illegal surveillance in hotels, Airbnb, and anywhere you suspect an unauthorized pair of eyes is watching and listening to you! I like that the device is lightweight and compact and can fit into any bag during travel. The sensitivity level is excellent. It also has real-time alerts, which is fantastic. I "tested" this in my house for RF & cameras and swept for items that I knew should trigger. It worked pretty well. The RF gives you bars that warn you as you get closer, even with the bars you can't sweep too fast or it gets squawky The camera identification shows you the camera lens as a small pin prick. I knew where the camera lenses were in my house so I spotted them easy. But with how bright the light is I could see it being easy to sweep past it if you're not paying close attention. It's very small, charges quick and with a usb-c connection, for me that's nice that I don't have to carry more cables around. The directions aren't super clear, I kinda already knew what I was looking at so I figured it out myself. But I didn't see anywhere where it specifically called out what each of the symbols meant. My brother has been using methamphetamines for a bit now and has been experiencing psychosis. Everyone is out to get him. People are following him. The house is bugged. Cameras ... all that stuff. I told him to come stay with me - he could sleep all of this off ... we'd get him into a detox center. I wanted him to feel safe here and know that he could trust me so I ordered this for him so he could check my house and know it wasn't bugged. Give him the box. He opens it ... And just my luck ... this thing looked like it had been used and returned. Had visible finger prints on the center plastic piece and the bottom corner looked like it had been dropped / nicked. I received this unit after watching a piece on national news about hidden cameras at AirBnB, VRBO and other rooms for rent. It was highly rated. I have played with it around my house and I was able to pick up my camera and my Wi-Fi. Seems to work.
