I purchased this for use at my elderly father’s home. My husband and I thought this would be the perfect solution for times when he didn’t answer his phone and we were concerned about his wellbeing. Unfortunately, not the case. First of all, the frame itself is very poor quality but we were willing to look past the quality for peace of mind. The frame can only be used in the upright position, again not a deal breaker. The problem is the frame leans too far back to see much of anything but the ceiling unless standing over the frame or placing it on a table/surface around 2 ft. tall. If the frame is hung on the wall it would probably work well. The big deal breaker for us was the frame gets very warm at the top where the camera is located. I do not know if the is a safety concern but I do know if my dad picked this frame up he would immediately be looking for the reason why it was warm, which gives away the spy/secrecy. All this being said, the live view was decent quality and we would have kept if not for limitations on display and the concerns with it being very warm.
