Product might have met my needs. Unfortunately there are no installations instructions - just a really screwed and incomplete list of digital commands/menus assuming you have ALREADY installed it correctly. I believe I DID install it correctly - but that took me 2 days (about 10 hours total). I have installed about 15 smart locks in my life on various doors, so normally it takes me about 10 minutes... But I'll nev er know because after spending another 10-12 hours basically deciphering from scratch the digital interface, I literally couldn't get the thing to actually lock, or even move, the deadbolt... maybe an install issue? or maybe the electronics were fried... or maybe there was some esoteric default setting that I never overrode.. but since there were literally no install instructions, and the operating instructions were not really in any English that an english speaker could understand, well... that's too many potential variables - no way to isolate or fix. I'm sending it back after wasting about 3 days of my life. Geez, all they needed to do was include some really basic install / handed configuration instructions, and have an english speaker edit the operating instructions, which would take about 20 minutes... DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I rarely write reviews, but I want to help others avoid what I have gone through with this product. The lock itself is not bad. The documentation for installation, setup and use is non-existent. One sheet is provided with an illegible flow chart and instructions for connecting to the app - which do not work. The Amazon website has very poorly done videos which are equally illegible. The most informative of the 4 tells you how to unpack the box. Helpful. Amazon should not sell this product.
