The boots are comfortable, warm and true to size. I like the barefoot style shoes, before winter I was wearing the barefoot grounding shoes. My feet seem to be less tired and they don't hurt or get numb anymore. The boots aren't waterproof, they are water resistant. Get some scotch guard or similar product. These boots are perfect for after a surgery on my knee causing a lot of nerve damage to the top of my foot and under the toes plus they allow the extra room I need for a bunion on the same foot. I wore them to a concert and was amazed how grippy they are on the ground and how stable I felt not to mention how comfy and warm my feet were. They fit perfectly even with a gel lift in one boot. They are ok, good warmth, size ok if you follow the men's size., don't know about water issue. The backs of the shoes were different, the right one seamed to collapse easily where (at first) the left one didn't, then it started to break down, they don't slide on by themselves anymore. This replacement pair at least had all its eyelets. Sadly, the marked size is incorrect. I normally wear a 42, and ordered 43 so I could wear heavy socks. But the right shoe is too tight, eve without a sock! Inconsistent quality from this manufacturer. And I am tired of trying to straighten out their manufacturing issues.
