I love these shies! This is my second pair. They are so comfortable that I forget I’m wearing shoes. I hate shoes and return them ofty. I can’t get a size that fits me and doesn’t hurt my feet. I wear these all day in perfect comfort. I never think about my feet! My balance is better and I can walk longer distances because feet don’t hurt. I’m used to bare foot shoes so these work well for me. Bare foot shoes help you develop the muscles in your feet. My others are very expensive, so I appreciate these. They are so lite weight, and comfortable. They allow air in so they aren’t hot. I like to wear them with out socks. They allow you to feel the inconsistencies of the ground which has helped me to to be more stable when I go for my 3 mile walks. I’m less likely to catch the toe of my shoe on something like I have in other shoes not barefoot style. They aren’t very padded inside the shoe, but enough to be comfortable. Any more and you wouldn’t sense the ground as well. Though you could use your own sole inserts if you needed them. They are a little bit stretchy so easy to pull on. Buyer beware: I don’t think these are the real hike shoes. You can’t step into them hands free. Like it shows in the ads for Hike. Aside from that they are a barefoot shoe. You can feel what you step on. There is a bit of an adjustment period due to that. It feels like walking around in water shoes. It does have the wide toe box. I bought it for a work shoe and it works great for that. I have not had any foot pain. They are slip resistant. I would say they have a stretchy roomy fit. Read more
