I have tried a couple different home remedies to get rid of the static (including static spray) but I cannot beat it. I am typically drawn towards A-Line skirts - well, truly, I love A-Line anything - dresses, coats, sweaters... Combine this with the high-waisted (which I also love - it's always been more comfortable to have the band seated above the tummy than right across it) and it's a no-brainer. Elastic is sort of a must-have for me these days and I love the feeling of the elastic band with this material which is like a thin, silky-smooth, flowy polyester that wears almost like rayon. As I gain and lose weight, the skirt can stay in my wardrobe with the drawstring tie (which is not elastic). It feels comfortable and secure and the closest to wearing nothing. Perfect skirt to throw on when you don't really want to put clothes on but need to because otherwise people in the grocery store tend to complain. It was a bit wrinkled out of the package but typically polyester just needs to hang for a while and they just come out on their own. My only one small criticism would be the price point - while it is a lovely skirt, I felt the cost might have been a little high for what it was. But I do love it - lightweight, comfortable, flowy. I am shocked at how affordable this skirt is. It is truly adorable. I was worried it may be a little too “house on the prairie” but this ended being so cute I wore it to brunch on my birthday!! The waist band had a good stretch to it. I love the flat front band with the gathered back. It gives it a more polished look instead of stretchy the whole way around. The ties are functional too. What I love most is the pockets!!! This skirt is light, breezy and lays well. I felt truly gorgeous on my birthday even with less skin showing. I think it made me feel tall. I’m 5’7” so I’m not short but it just made me feel taller than usual. I would definitely recommend washing this in a garnet bag so you don’t snag the fabric. It’s kinda a delicate table cloth like material. It is not see through and hides under lines decently well. I was worried the small would be too tight but it ended up being fine. I am 5’7” and 140 lbs with a 31” natural waist. The length hit my right at the bottom of my ankle which was perfect but may be too long for you shorter ladies. Read more

This is so pretty. My hips are 42" and I kind of wish I had gotten an XL just because I like skirts to sit low on my hips; not a huge deal though. It is really soft and the quality is good. I will be able to dress this skirt up or really just keep it casual. I am 5'9" and it's pretty long, it lands around my ankle which is pretty rare for me. I almost didn't order this skirt, but I am SO glad I did! Basically I'm not a fan of a draw string, which is why I almost didn't order it. But the string in the front is more for show than function. And in order to wear the belt in the picture, I actually just tucked the strings back inside the waistband. This color of this skirt is so rich, and the fabric is so light. It literally flows around my ankles. I'm 5'2", 130 pounds, and I ordered a medium. Also, the packing wrinkles in this material (I've dealt with this material before) will not come out with a quick wash and dry. You will have to steam them out. This fabric steams very easily, and any water that might drip on it during the steaming process will not leave any marks. The skirt is about half an inch off the floor for me, but it looks great with heels. I'm already planning where I can wear this skirt as soon as possible. Five stars, highly recommend!
