This jar is a good idea for holding pills, and it was exactly what I was looking for. The problem is that it is too complex to open and close. I am good at following instructions so if they had been more clear I would have been able to open and close it more easily. After attempting to remove the top a number of times without success, I was about to return it, but I decided one more time to remove the top. Much to my surprise on my final try I was able to remove the top! Not really sure about what I did, but I was thankful that I could at least add my vitamins to the compartments. Sadly, once it was opened I was not able to re-close it, but I decided to keep it anyway since my gummy vitamins would have been too large to pour through the dispenser slot, and I would have needed to remove the top each time to get them out. Even though the gummiers do not fit through the slots all of my other vitamins do, and some of them are quite large I would suggest to the manufacturer to design the top as a simple twist on and off top, and then the dispenser will be perfect!
