If you just need some resistance for up movements, then these will be great for you...
I don't know the jargon for wrist positions. So I'll have to explain a bit. If you hold your arm out straight with your wrist and fingers pointing in the same direction, I'm going to call that the neutral position, if you pull your wrist up so the fingers are pointing up, that's up, as far as you can to the right, the right, to the left, the left, and as far downward as you can, down. Okay? These braces only give me resistance when my wrist goes up. It does nothing for left or right and very little for down. If they added 3-4 more inches so it wraps the right side twice, that would be much better, it would give enough thickness to offer some more resistance there at least. My ACE wrist brace, which is the same length, but has two parts that wrap around giving more thickness, work better for me. I wanted a brace in this style because I thought the thumb loop would help keep the brace in the correct place, but these don't give me the support I need. If you just need some resistance for up movements, then these will be great for you, if you need right or down, look elsewhere. Read more
