Bulky and not great audio, cool translation feature

Sarah MSeptember 22, 2025

These smart glasses are interesting, but overall I wasn’t impressed. In the photos they look like they’re going for a Ray-Ban style, but in person they stick out awkwardly on the face. Both my husband and I noticed a big gap between the frames and our heads, and the thick arms (temple pieces) add to the bulky, “techy” look. Setup is straightforward: they pair easily over Bluetooth, and there’s a companion app that adds features like real-time translation, transcription, and even face-to-face translation if you set your phone between you and another person. That’s a neat idea, and I can see it being useful in certain work or travel scenarios. The lenses do have a blue light filter, so they double as computer glasses. Each arm has a small speaker near where it rests on your ears, plus touch-sensitive panels for controls. The gesture system lets you tap or long-press to play/pause music, skip songs, adjust volume, or answer calls. It works, but you really do have to memorize all the taps to get the hang of it. Charging is clunky: the included cable splits like a fork so you can charge both arms separately. When mine arrived, only one side had any charge, which caused some initial confusion. A full charge takes about 90 minutes. The glasses also come with a soft carrying pouch and cleaning cloth. The biggest letdown is sound quality. The speakers are very thin, with little bass, and they feel more like a set of budget Bluetooth speakers strapped to your face than something you’d want for actual music enjoyment. The open-ear style does let you stay aware of your surroundings, but don’t expect immersive audio. At around $30, they’re inexpensive compared to the $380+ Ray-Ban smart glasses, but you definitely get what you pay for. If you’re curious about the translation or transcription features, they might be worth trying, but as everyday glasses or headphones, they fell short for me. Read more

I highly recommend giving these a try!

H4RMSW4YSeptember 18, 2025

I recently received the HJX Smart Glasses, and I must say, I’m thoroughly impressed! These glasses have a sleek black and silver frame that looks stylish on both men and women. The design is modern and comfortable, making them perfect for daily wear. One of the standout features is the Bluetooth capability. Pairing them with my PC was a breeze, and I love how I can take calls and listen to music hands-free. The sound quality is surprisingly good for something so compact, which enhances the overall experience. The blue light protection is a game-changer for indoor use. With so much time spent in front of screens, these glasses help reduce eye strain and fatigue, which I’ve noticed quite a bit since starting to use them regularly. Another cool aspect is the magnetic interchangeable lenses. It’s great to have the option to switch them out based on my needs or preferences. The lenses are easy to change and fit securely, ensuring that they won’t fall out during use. Overall, the HJX Smart Glasses offer a fantastic blend of style, functionality, and protection. Whether you’re looking for a tech upgrade or just a new pair of glasses for everyday use, I highly recommend giving these a try! Read more

Half works

KioSeptember 13, 2025

The concept is cool and the glasses themselves don't look that bad. They connect just fine as well. Im not sure if mine are defective or not, but the left speaker does not work, even if I just connect the leftside on its own. Sound like any other modern stereo speakers. Haven't tried using them outside because of the speaker thing. Maybe you'll get a good pair, but I wouldn't pick these up as it stands. Especially, for the price. Read more

Neat Idea, But Kind of Pointless

Grant FritcheySeptember 12, 2025

I got these things fully working in about five minutes. It's easy. They paired very neatly with my phone. I was able to make calls, receive calls and play music. Out of the box. I then had my wife sit down and we recorded a chat. It transcribed the chat... a bit poorly. I also had my wife speak German and the app translated that to English just fine. So, they do what they say they're going to do. However... I also need to wear glasses to read. I can't wear these and those. I mean, I can, but now I'm sporting two pair of glasses at the same time. There's no interaction with the eye part of the glasses at all. No heads up display or anything like that. It's just a set of bluetooth speakers really. The glasses were nice and clear. I found them to feel quite flimsy though. I don't think they'll hold up well to continual use. And they're just not doing anything that my ear buds don't do just about as well, if not better. Sound quality was not as good as my ear buds, and other people could hear my glasses too, unlike the ear buds. It's a neat idea, truly. However, with all the limitations, poor sound quality, I just don't see the point. Read more

Stylish and Functional, But Pairing Is a Pain

MyeMye ClanSeptember 27, 2025

These Bluetooth blue light protection glasses are really nice for the price. Straight out of the box, I was impressed with how sleek, lightweight, and well-made they looked. In fact, they were so nice that my daughter immediately claimed them as her own…so much for me having new glasses! The sound is also perfectly acceptable for a pair of glasses. Not too loud, not too soft, just right for casual listening. My only gripe is the Bluetooth pairing. I’ve paired hundreds of devices over the years, and these gave me the hardest time. Once they finally connect, they stay paired just fine, but that initial setup was a nightmare. Overall, great glasses. just be ready for a little patience test at the beginning. Read more

Seamless Tech and All-Day Comfort

Darryl J.August 26, 2025

Finally, smart glasses that don't look dorky! The tech vibe on these is strong – they look like something from a sci-fi movie. But the best part is the comfort. I wear them for hours on end, working, walking, you name it, and I barely feel them on my face. The sound is pretty good; it's not bass-heavy like headphones, but for open-ear audio, it's impressive and perfect for being aware of your surroundings. Pairing was a breeze; just opened the case and they connected to my Android phone in seconds. Absolutely love them. A great purchase! Read more
