I'd like whiter teeth. I don't expect white teeth, as I'm not sure my teeth have ever been purely white. I think even in their youth, my teeth were nice, but were a slightly off white shade. Anyway, they sure could improve, so I ordered this in that effort. My advice on this is to Very Carefully removed the entire top And VERY CAREFULLY remove all the foil, then snap the entire top back on. I advise this because I had a difficult time getting the foil segment that is just for the open area to come free, as shown in the ad (I didn't have a tab of any sort to accomplish that) so I ended up doing this anyway, and got a cheap lesson that it can tip/dump. It didn't; I was ok, but I could easily see that happening. ANYWAY, this is a cool container. Once you have it unfoiled, and the lid is snapped on securely, you just release the little lever thing (it'll be obvious) and it pops open. It's perfect per directions to wet your brush to get a coated bristles worth for each round of scrubbing. I've used it 3 times now, and it's absolutely making my teeth brighter and less stained. I'm eager to finish a full tub of this (there is a TON of powder). It has a good flavor. It's easy to brush for at least 2 minutes. I rinse well, then follow up with my special (dentist recommended) toothpaste that I need. When I finish, my mouth feels fantastic. So far, I've decided to just do this once a day for now. I don't see directions anywhere with guidance on how often you can use it, so I'm going to error on the side of caution. I may bump it up to two times a day if I'm finding that I'm tolerating it well after a couple weeks. So, to sum up: Cool packaging that will make use pretty easy, simple to use per directions and after 3 uses, it sure LOOKS like it works. I'll update with any info that should be reported. This HLP dental powder does a good job cleaning my teeth. I've used this at least ten times so far and my teeth feel pretty squeaky clean afterwards. I don't think it actually whitened my teeth because I have naturally yellowish teeth that can only be whitened by peroxide. This just does a good job of surface cleansing. This tub has a foil seal but it lifted right off when I pulled the flip lid up. This makes me think that it wasn't 100% sealed but there was no mess and I've no issues with the powder so far. The flavor is a light mint. The reason I took off one star is because it contains the ingredient sodium laurel sulfate which is a gum irritant. This product is marketed for sensitive gums and well known products like Sensodyne do not contain this ingredient. My dental hygienist also told me to avoid sodium laurel sulfate when I was having sensitive gum issues. The ad page does not contain a list of ingredients and I found it only on the box of which I provided a photo. Fortunately, I haven't had sensitive gum issues while using this product but it would be fair to let those who have this problem be informed. Read more

I've used this teeth whitening powder for about a month now, 3 times a week - Here are my thoughts! The instructions say to dip a damp toothbrush into the opening and although the opening is big enough for most toothbrushes, I've found it much easier to use a tiny scooper to apply it on the brush. Once I started brushing I saw that the powder begins to foam pretty fast! Although I am not a fan of the light minty flavor, it's bearable. Rinsing it out is easy but the best part in my opining is how clean your teeth and mouth generally feel. Feels like a quick cleaning visit from the dentist. Once I look past my personal preferences like the application method and flavor, I can see this product nails all of its claims. The whitening is noticeable, at least it was for me, after about a weeks use. Flavor is Ok, some folk may even like it. The clean feeling it leave behind is my favorite and makes this worth making a part of my dental care routine. 5/5 from me! Read more

I am not crazy about this stuff. I have been using it for several months, not daily, and I am not sure that I have seen any results. I cannot tolerate it enough to use it daily. The pastey-ness off it is just too much for daily use for me. The flavor isn’t bad. And, once wet, it does soften up into a paste fairly well. I find it slightly difficult to get it onto my toothbrush. I don’t really want to stick my wet toothbrush into the pot as it will contaminate the rest of the powder. And, everything inside will get wet too. But, if the toothbrush isn’t slightly damp, the powder won’t stick. I don’t think there’s any harm in using this and maybe my teeth aren’t as stained as some. I am sure if you used it everyday you would notice a difference. I simply don’t enjoy it enough to tolerate it everyday. And, I am an avid lover of brushing my teeth. So, if you don’t mind pastey toothpaste, with more grit, and you have significant staining on your teeth, then I would say give this a try. It is super compact and portable which makes it easy to travel with. I am more of a gel paste kind of girl and so I just don’t enjoy this enough to try it daily. Read more

So it seems to help a little for teeth whitening, but don't expect a massive change. At least for me. The main concern I have is the container. I can see it spreading grems or even in that case getting the powder wet each time to apply the product. You should not have to put your toothbrush into anything to apply product. It should be applied from a container to the toothbrush or you risk getting everything wet or caked up inside the container. Just not a good application process at all. Read more
