As a Vine Voice, I have to admit that clothing is my favorite product to review. When I pick out clothing, I put very little thought into things most of the time, because there are many more Vine Voices who love to review clothing as well. In some cases, I'll just skim over the details of the garment and try to fit my measurements into the sizes offered in the size chart. In this case, I couldn't find a size chart anywhere, other than to mention that there was a big and tall variation...with the same sizes as the regular variation. The version of brown color that appeared in the photographs was really something special. That's why I ordered the easygoing pair of trousers. In the majority of my reviews, products start out with five stars. I deduct stars for each characteristic that could be considered universally unfavorable. I've given this easygoing pair of trousers four stars. Let me explain: Does it fit? I usually wear a size 24, so I ordered the pants in size 2XL. Put quite simply, barely. This is the reason I deducted one star. Several manufacturers of clothing on Amazon do not offer any indication about what each size measurements are, and this was no exception. Sometimes you find the size chart after digging around, but in this case, I had no luck finding it. In haste, I also missed that the zipper didn't include a button. To me, if a pair of pants has a zipper, it's easier to put them on when you button them first. I couldn't get them on. After a few minutes of trying I gave up. The leg length, though, was indeed longer than what my legs could handle. Is it comfortable? The fabric that's used is soft, but with it comes a sleek, sophisticated, professional look. Had I been able to fit into the pants, I probably celebrate the flexible elastic waist. The leg cut is roomy without resembling palazzo pants. What are the features? Hody Lovy seems to be proud of their zipper being hidden. I agree, having a button and zipper on the front of a pair of trousers is a detail that distracts the eye. The other really fantastic part is the fabric, Tencel. This is a relatively new fabric that is sourced sustainably AND feels wonderful to the touch. It would have been nice if the trousers had pockets. Will it survive many trips through the washer and dryer? The pants are made from 100% Tencel. Alas, Hody Lovy did not list what the care for the trousers should be on their web page, so I had to look it up on my own. What I learned is that the pants can survive a trip through the washer and dryer, but the washer better be set to delicates and the dryer better be set to low. Nevertheless, after discovering this fabric, I think I'm going to start tracking it down as a pro instead of a con. Is this constructed with quality in mind? The hems on the pants are well constructed, and it seems as though the elastic around the waist won't overextend with time, but I can't predict the future. I think the stretchiness wasn't much of a feature. Another characteristic to be mindful of is that these are very light and breathable pants, so don't expect them to keep you warm. Finally, this garment seems to be on the fragile side, so it does require careful maintenance. Do I like the way this looks on me? Simply put, I do not like the way the pants look on me because I can't get the top to zip up! Is this worth the price? The price is completely fair, and I don't think you'll regret purchasing this, that is, if you know what size to order and are willing to put some effort into keeping these trousers stylish. These pants are stretchy and sooo comfortable. Think the comfort of leggings in a business casual look. They are super soft and breathable. They look awesome under a longer shirt, but would look just as nice with a shorter blouse as well. The waist is elastic, so no worry about any gapping when sitting out bending over. These pants are seriously my new go to. They look like real casual dress pants but they feel like I’m wearing sweatpants. I can move around, sit on the floor with the kids, run errands and still look like I put effort in. The fabric has a nice stretch without getting loose or sloppy by the end of the day. They don’t wrinkle easily and the waistband has just the right amount of give so I’m still comfortable even after lunch. I can pair them with a simple tee and sneakers or throw on a blouse and they instantly look more dressed up. My only one issue is that there is no tag so I’m kind of confused if the zipper goes in the front or back. The material is a bit thin for winter, but almost perfect for year-round California weather. These pants are very comfortable and stretchy, but not quite as flattering or polished looking as I'd like for wearing to the office. I also didn't realize when I got them that they don't have pockets, which is typically a requirement for any pants I wear out of the house. Read more

These pants are a lot more flattering on me than I was expecting when I first unpacked them. They fit perfectly in the length (I am pretty tall) and they drape very nicely. For pants with elastic waist band, they are exceptionally flattering. They are pretty good quality though the material is thin and I don't think I will wear them much in our mild winters.
