This outdoor solar lights is awesome! It has all the necessary parts to hang it. There is a cool texture on the panels that give the light a dreamy effect amd adds to the overall appeal. We have had several cloudy days and the light still has collected enough sunlight to charge. There is a remote that has decent range. We are able to sit on our lower deck and change the colors or turn the light off/on from approx 20 feet away. (Not sure the distance it would work from inside, because we only ever turn it on when we are outside. The color change feature is one of my favorites. We can go with a "Standard" cool/warm white or a color that fits the mood. The battery seems to charge well and we havent had any issues turning it on for the duration we want (as much as 6 hours). Note- our deck is full sun all day. Overall, we really enjoy this light and my husband enjoyed not having to do any wiring. The solar feature means this cool light can be placed anywhere you have adequate sun exposure. Read more
I wanted to dress up the back porch a bit, but I wasn't about to spend my weekend tearing into the drywall to run new electrical lines. I decided to give these Holkirt solar sconces a shot, and they earned a five-star rating from me because they actually look like real, high-end light fixtures rather than the cheap plastic junk you usually see in the solar aisle. The crystal-flower glass shade is the standout feature here. When the light hits it, it throws a really nice pattern against the wall that looks much more expensive than it actually was. I like that I can cycle through the four different colors and dim them with the remote; usually, I keep them on a warm white, but my daughters, who are 11 and 13, get a kick out of changing the colors when we’re hanging out on the patio. The hexagonal black frame feels solid and stands up to the wind we get back there, and the fact that they stay lit for a good eight to ten hours means they’re still glowing when I let the dog out late at night. If I had to pick a dislike, it’s that the remote range is a little short. I have to be reasonably close to the lights for it to register, so I can’t really adjust them from inside the house through the sliding door. Also, you have to make sure they get direct sun; if they’re under a deep eave, that 2200mAh battery won’t get a full charge. However, for the price point, the value is excellent. I really wanted to be impressed by this solar light and give it a great review. In many ways, it’s a fantastic product—it has a beautiful design, feels surprisingly lightweight for its size, and seems very well made.The light offers several configuration options, including warm, cool, and neutral tones, along with multiple brightness levels. All controllable from the remote that it comes with ,However, even at its highest setting, it’s extremely dim. I originally got it to illuminate areas around my business so customers would feel safer after dark, but it simply is not bright enough for that purpose.On the plus side, installation was easy. Although it’s designed to be screwed into the wall, I was able to thread some wire through it and hang it on an existing plastic hook—no problems so far with stability.Overall, if you’re looking for a very dim, decorative solar light, this one could be perfect for you. Very well made with durable materials and an appealing design. The solar panels run along the top canopy ensuring an adequate charging source. We have not yet installed it as the weather has not been cooperating. This will make a nice addition to our patio area. Great size! Read more
Love this light. Love that it almost matches exactly the other ones on my property. So I replaced one of the wired, have to turn on with a light switch ones with this. I was tired of coming home and it being dark outside and didn't want to leave the light on all day. Install is unboxing and couple screws, easy peasy. Now, if you do now have a place that gets plenty of a sun light this may not be great for you as it needs to charge all day. So if you're putting by your front door that's under this huge porch over hag that's in the dark 23 hours a day this won't be great. But n the right location it's plenty bright. You're not lighting up the whole yard, but you can see there no one hiding in the shadows and you can see your keys in your purse and all that. Quality is wonderful. Function works just like it should if mounted in the proper area for sun light. Value for the money, eh it's a bit pricey, but it costs just as much as the hard wired ones, so for the free electricity and having light when you come home is pick this over the regular kind for sure. And it will pay for itself overtime in saved electric costs. Read more
This is a nice outdoor wall light, it gives a nice soft glow to light up where you need light, it's not super bright but it does the job, there different modes you can switch from warm, daylight, or red, you can adjust the brightness and set a timer from the remote, It's easy to install/mount and last a long while on a good day of sun almost all night.
