Karate Bear is cute, extra "belts" are not useful.
The bear itself is super cute. Martial Arts Uniform and black belt on the bear are fine, but the extra "belts" that come with it are not made like the black belt, they are just pieces of ribbon and short ones at that. That aren't big enough to put on the bear and come sewn to the bear's hand for some reason. If your child is going to have the bear teach a class of Barbies, the extra belts might work for that, but are no where near as nice or long as the belt it comes with and definitely won't fit the bear. That being said, the children I bought them for absolutely loved them and those details didn't seem to matter to them. Read more

Caution, belts are not interchangeable.
I bought this bear because I thought it had interchangeable belts, and our child could change them as she progressed in karate. However, none of the belts are long enough to tie around the bear. We are purchasing ribbon separately to make our own. Read more
