Tiny Trash Can That Doesn't Feel Dinky 🗑️✨
I didn't expect to have feelings about a 1.3 gallon trash can, and yet here we are. This one is compact, sturdy, and genuinely functional, which is weirdly hard to find in “tiny bathroom can” land. • The lid keeps personal "bathroom stuff" out of sight, which is kind of the whole point. • Has a removable inner bucket, which makes emptying and cleaning easier. • The base is stable, it has a non-slip bottom, so stepping on the pedal does not make it tip or hop around, unless you are stomping like you're auditioning for Riverdance. • Stainless steel exterior looks clean and modern. It says it's fingerprint/smudge resistant, and so far, mine really does stay looking nicer with less wiping than I expected. • Regular grocery bags are technically oversized for this capacity, but I’ve still been able to use them with a little tucking. Sensory Stuff: ◦ 👂 Quiet: Soft-close lid means no metal clanging shut, especially nice in the middle of the night. ◦ 🖐 Hands-free: Foot pedal is responsive, and the can stays put. ◦ 👃 Odor: No built-in carbon filter/deodorizer, but it’s small enough that trash does not sit around long "marinating" 🤢. Also it's pretty cheap to add a stick-on deodorizer if you want. Other Stuff: • Compact size (5L / 1.3 gallon) is ideal for toilet closets, small bathrooms, dorms, under-vanity spots, or desk areas. • Width: Just under 9" • Total Height (closed): ~11" • At around $20, this feels like a solid deal. I’ve seen flimsier all-plastic numbers at this price. ✅ TLDR: Basically everything I want in a small waste can: looks sleek, quiet soft-close lid, stable foot pedal. Great value around $20. No built-in deodorizer, but easy fix. Read more
