So far I like it......the thermostat works properly......they are efficient.....nice to warm up to when coming into The house from the cold. ....they are fairly safe, if you do not put cloth in front of them.....setting them on fire. Good for setting on the edge of cabinets, or shelf away from flammable materials... Nearly maintenance free.....they are reasonably quiet......I live in a camper....this is the primary one, & the secondary one is running on the microwave fuse. Read more

i don't understand why so many bad reviews, this is my 4th heater now, and I love it. It keeps my living area cozy and comfortable. I will keep buying more in the feature. I had an emergency a few years ago, my central AC unit went bad, and purchased two of these heaters during a 30 degree evening; I absolutely have no complaints, the noise doesn't bother me like some people described. These little heaters put out a lot of heat, immediately, as soon as you turn it on! The only tool you need is a medium size screwdriver, either flat head or phillips, to attach the two legs. The legs are marked "FRONT" and you slide them into the bottom of the heater. Then attach the screws, two on each leg. Then just plug the heater in, turn the thermostat knob fully to the right, clockwise, and turn the heater on. You'll get a smell the first few minutes, which is normal, because it's new. After that, no more smells. Once the room is comfortable slowly rotate the thermostat knob back to the left, counterclockwise, until the heater shuts off. It will then turn on and off to maintain the temperature, within a few degrees. You may have to adjust it a few times to get it dialed in. My bedroom is 14 X 14 X 9 and this little heater keeps it nice and warm so I don't have to heat my whole house during the overnight hours. Make sure to keep the cold air intake, on the right side of the heater, clean. It can get clogged with dust or pet hair. If you notice the heater isn't working as well or if it shuts off and the red light comes on, check that air intake. I also wouldn't recommend using a power strip or definitely not an extension cord with the heater. Plug it directly into your wall outlet. If you notice the plug is hot, uncomfortable to the touch, plug it in elsewhere. A warm plug is normal, especially on the 1,500 watt setting. A hot plug is not and it's dangerous. A hot plug is telling you that the outlet is not powerful enough for the heater. This heater is quiet too. You can hear the fan, but it's not annoying. At least not to me. Read more

The heater works well in small spaces. The safety features also worked well. My only regret is I did not buy a product warranty. However, the product lifecycle was only two seasons. I bought in December 2023 and the safety feature light came on and the heater stopped working at the end of December 2024! 4 star rating because it was a warm & enjoyable experience. I will reorder the product and add the warranty this time! Read more

Over all I like this heater it is actually quite large as far as 1,500 watt heaters go, the two switches and the knob work like you would expect them two, and it was easy to put together. The only reason that I am giving this one star is that the two plastic feet for it were just thrown into the bottom of the box with the heater put on top of them with no provisions for keeping them safe and one was broken in half when I took it out of the box, I glued it back together and then screwed it on and so far it seems to be ok. This also came packed in Styrofoam if that is an issue for you. EDIT 1: Don't buy this product - I have been running this heater for two months now and typically only run it for 30-60 minutes in the morning while I get the fireplace going, a few weeks ago I started to notice the fan has a warble in it and for the past few days the alarm light comes on and it shuts off after only being on for a few minutes, and I have it on a flat concrete floor with nothing around it or over it. I am an electronic technician and will be taking this thing apart to see what is wrong with it and will come back here and do another edit. Read more

Have used for over a year now. Highly recommended. Heat is great. Doesn't shoot out to fat but it will warm a room up quickly. Spot on. Read more

Good quality! Works great in a 11x12 space. I prefer this to a heat fan. Does not turn off unless you turn it off. I recommend this product! Read more

For my purposes, it works well. For yours, it might not. Allow me to explain. I wanted a fairly cheap, quiet heater that heats well/fast and radiates the heat for targeted warmth while I'm working in my home office. It's great at most of that, but only "okay" in the noise department. Compared to most any other style of heater: sure, it runs quietly. But the only other radiating heater I've owned (a parabolic-style heater) was downright silent. This one is not silent. But not bad either; not loud enough to be distracting to my work. Its biggest flaw doesn't affect me much, so I'm okay with it in spite of the flaw. It's this; the thermostat is crappy. It lacks any finesse; if I dial it up the tiniest bit, it raises the temperature by 4° or 5°. If that's too warm and I dial it down the tiniest bit, it doesn't even start taking on until it's 6° or 7° lower. Even if I find a temperature setting that it warms up perfectly to (and then, properly, shuts off because it's reached the correct temperature) like, say, 68°, it does not maintain the room at that temperature. It simply stays in the non-heating state until the temperature drops down to 60° or 61°. So if you are planning on using this while you sleep, that means your room will be vacillating between too hot and too cold. On the other hand, if you plan to use it while you are awake and just a few feet from it, having an ineffectual thermostat is not a big deal; you can just manually turn it on or off. Read more
