The color matches the picture, IMHO more than hot pink, it is a beautiful deep raspberry. It fits my 20" combination of mattress and toppers perfectly. The all-around elastic of the fitted sheet holds the sheet in place without letting it show the actual mattress (love that!). The sheet DOES NOT have the decorative edge you may expect... I have to admit I missed it even though I never show it when I make my bed. The four (4) pillow cases that come with it do have a decorative edge and a simple envelope closure. The fabric feels soft. I sleep very well in these. The deep pockets are truly Deep! Make sure you measure. I tuck them in everywhere I can. I got the split king so I can't tuck the middle but haven't had an issue with it being loose. I can wrap these around the whole side of the mattress and tuck in so the mattress never shows, even when using my adjustable bed. The pillow cases are extra long. I sewed mine to fit standard pillows. It has the nice pocket at the end to keep your pillow inside and looking nice. I've used these a week so Im not sure yet how they hold up. I don't know about your mattress but they seemed to be getting thicker and thicker. My new mattress is like 15 inches, but so many "deep pocket" sheets still pop off at the corners. So annoying. These are considered extra deep. I have been using them for two months, yes I wash them, but they go right back on. They have not popped off once. The are elastic all the way around and also have extra corner elastic. In fact these are so deep my mattress could be even wider. They are also so easy to put on. Now for the actual sheet. They are soooooo soft. When I bought them I was going for price and pocket depth. The surprise, they are super soft, even my husband commented on the softness. I purchased these sheets after receiving a set for the holidays. They are soft, wash and dry well. Women will love them because they keep you cool at night. The best part is if you were looking for deep pockets these sheets are great. There is nothing worse than sheets that slip off the bed. The pockets on these sheets give you more than enough room to tuck under the mattress. They were on sale when I purchased them which made them a fabulous buy. They seem to be on the thin side, however, treat them with care and they should last a while. I have no complaints and I’m glad to have purchased them. The color I ordered was the lavender/purple and they are beautiful. The ruby colored sheets have a sheen to them. I don’t think any color you order will disappoint.
