I have had two replacement humidifier canisters, both worked about 8 weeks less than one year, which is the warranty from Honeywell itself. I complained to Amazon 2 days ago, and got a young man who said send him a report from a licensed tech that it was indeed broken again, and a report from the third party (Residio) from whom Amazon forwarded the part, and they'd see if they could give me some compensation. A young woman, after I went to the trouble of collecting all this, told me that they shouldn't have offered to help me in the first place. Several hours of my life have been treated with contempt, and I strongly advise buying this item from Honeywell directly, not from Amazon. The price is about the same anyway, and you'll get a warranty for an item that consistently fails just before warranty runs out. Read more
