The media could not be loaded. I'd rate this lamp 4.5 stars, or 9 out of 10. The construction quality and light quality are nice, with value and the single-hinge neck being the main negatives. Pros: - There's NO strobing/flickering that you often see with LEDs. (I'm referring to how, for some LEDs, you can wave your hand in the light and you'll see your hand strobe like stop-motion animation. This lamp **doesn't** have that weakness.) - The color of the shades of white is very good. It doesn't have excessive yellow or pink hues at the warm end, and at the cool end, it doesn't feel excessively blue. - The stepless dimming is smooth. At dim levels, the light doesn't flicker. - The neck doesn't wobble too much. See the video of me tapping it gently. - The height of the neck is good for most monitor setups that are within good ergonomics. - The two wings on the side are fully articulated -- you can fold it into one chunky lamp or unfold into a narrow strip. You can even fold them backwards. - The head of the lamp is able to articulate such that you can angle the bright bulb out of your line of sight Neutral: - The neck hinge requires two hands to adjust finely. It errs toward being tight, which isn't a bad thing. - Inherent in any clamp lamp: you probably want to watch out for over-tightening the clamp if you are attaching it to a table made of weaker materials, such as honeycomb cardboard. - The rubbery plastic grips on the clamp may be worth inspecting periodically to check if they've leached out sticky residue.
