This is the worst spinning cheese grater I have ever bought. It started to fall apart the moment I put the cheese in. The cheese kept moving even though I held the tongs and it made a terrible noise the entire time it was in use since the metal scraped against metal. It does come apart easy which makes it easy to clean, but it also makes it extremely hard to keep together to grate wanted items. Horrible performance! Definitely NOT worth the money. In this case, you get what you pay for. And it takes up so much space because all of the parts do not have a special holding spot. It took much longer to use this than a regular cheese grater. Don’t waste your time. Go with another brand. I thought this would save me time and money since it is metal so I thought it wouldn’t break, but the metal pieces are extremely thin and cheap. Excellent tool for the price. Cheeses glide through easily, washes up very nice. Would buy again! Read more

The grater left black ink?? On the cheese even after washing! It’s metal on metal so when cranking it, it’s like nails on a chalkboard to me! It was awkward and kept dismantling while actively using it! Read more

I mean it gets the job done but there’s a massive gap between the housing and the grater so you get HUGE chunks of parm at the end. Its really difficult to get enough pressure without hitting your thumb with the crank, and it ALWAYS shaves metal into your food, i always have a bunch of grey parm intermixed with my grated parm. Honestly, i wouldn’t suggest this product. Its just not well built. It looks well built, love that it is all metal but im not trying to have gross metal shavings in my food. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I thought stainless steel would be really durable but the metal the shredder is made of is thin and flimsy. The handle is able to wiggle back and forth which means it doesn’t always go into the box and hold the item being shredded. It makes it harder to hold and hard to use. I could hold it okay with a firm, careful grip but it wouldn’t shred the cheese easily until the cheese had a curve matching the shape of the cylinder. I don’t know if you can tell in the video but even then it wasn’t very smooth. Also, I had to cut the cheese so it was completely inside the box because the handle kept jerking and wiggling off of it if any stuck out. Until the cheese had a curve in it, it jerked all around and wouldn’t rotate smoothly. There is no way it would shred nuts. I didn’t try because if it can’t handle quality Parmesan, nuts would be impossible. The cylinder doesn’t always go in smoothly because the latch wiggles back and forth and misses the hook. I like that it has four options but it’s so hard to use it’s actually faster for me to use a flat grater. Im sending it back. I’m not going to order a replacement because the whole unit is so flimsy it couldn’t be an isolated defect. Read more

Because it isn't super speedy I think it is a decent grater, I do wish the metal had a little less flex to it, but I have only used it a couple times and it did what it was suppose to do. Read more
