These pre-poked holes are surprisingly easy to use. The foil has a nice weight to it and don't seem cheap like others I've used before. Sometimes I may poke a few more holes towards the edge of my hookah bowl when I want but it isn't necessary. I simply advise that you know the size or dimensions of your hookah bowl.
