It’s super light weight so I get it why some would call it cheap. But it’s super sturdy and doesn’t squeak. It’s quiet and super easy to assemble in 30-40mins with the instruction booklet. Packaged pretty well. No damaged pieces. I got the queen size. Worth every penny. Definitely would recommend. Sadly can’t say the same for other things on Amazon but this was a worthy buy so far. Got compliments on it. Best bang for the buck. Actually looks nice in person just as advertised for once. Not shaky and did not come a very big box surprisingly. Long but not big or bulky packaging. Extremely easy to put together - had fun doing it by myself as a single lady! Very sturdy. I was worried that at this price the gold paint would easily chip off but it hasn’t so far. It’s really beautiful! Love this bed WAY more than I thought I would! Only complaint: when putting the last parts together, I had to improvise on which screws/bolts to use and ended up needing the “spare parts” that were included with the hardware package because someone didn’t to a great job of counting these all out. Was easy to put together by myself. Directions were easy to follow. Wanted to buy a queen size frame for my daughter, but I accidentally ordered a full. Because they were going to charge me $30 to ship it back I ended up keeping it and replacing my old dark wood bed frame I wasn’t fond of anymore anyhow. It was too tall for me to climb in and out of bed with the box spring on, so I took it off. Someone else’s review mentioned the mattress being to slippery on the frame. I put down a yoga mat right in the middle to add traction, wish I had two to more evenly place it on both sides. And I put down a piece of wood I had cut to go under twin mattresses from a previously owned trundle bed with springs. I need a board that is the length of a full, but I put it more under the side I sleep on until I go to home depot to have another board cut. This really helped to add traction so it’s not slippery on the metal frame. Love the height of the frame, room for tons of under the bed storage. Read more
This is a great bed! I have a queen and it is sturdier than the one i bought from a furniture store that had wooden slats. I love a high bed and i was going to leave my box spring on here, however, if I that then the headboard would be barely seen and the bed would be super high... you'd have to take a running start to get into it. So if you have a high mattress which I do, you're not going to want to use a box spring. I feel it's too low for me so I may purchase a 4" platform for my bed. I bought the gold bed. It's not the shiny cheap gold color it's a matted gold... very pretty and well worth the money... very sturdy too. Read more
I purchased this for my mother’s house to replace her 26 year old day bed. This frame was easy to put together. I did it all by myself and it probably took an hour. Instructions were complete and easy to follow. Parts were labeled. Everything fit nicely together. All screw holes aligned. All parts were in the package. Screws were nicely packed and it even had extra screws. The bed does not squeak when you move around. The mattress does shift a little but not a big deal. The frame does have adhesive tape to help keep mattress from moving but I didn’t use it cause I added a bed skirt under the mattress. The frame holds the mattress, myself (approx 200 lbs) and the dog (approx 30 lbs). If I needed another twin frame, I would definitely buy again. The bed arrived prior to the estimated delivery date. This is a sturdy and attractive bed frame. It was heavy, but delivered a few days early and with great care. My husband put it together by himself, so I don't know how long it took. But it must not have been long because he finished before he went to work. I love the height. It's the perfect hiding place for Christmas gifts. Also, vacuuming underneath is a breeze. Of course, the ultimate comfort of a bed is the mattress. But this bedframe is a great foundation. I thought I needed a new mattress, but, having replaced the frame, the bed is now comfortable. So, when I purchased this bed I didn’t realize a box spring wasn’t needed. My bed is brand new so I didn’t wanna get rid of my bed. I just bought my house and needed a bed frame desperately. I ended up keeping my box spring on it and it sits really high but I love it!! I feel like a queen. This bed frame took me roughly an hour to put together and it was very easy. It doesn’t move, it doesn’t squeak, it’s very sturdy and exactly like the picture. I’m so satisfied with this purchase. Probably one of my most favorite things I’ve bought off Amazon! Read more
