Things I know you want to know: // Worth it? Yes. I paid $129 but would have paid more knowing what I know. // Does it get deep? Yes. I used Oxy carpet cleaner, but man does it clean. // Noticeable difference? Yes! You'll notice that my carpet is much cleaner. But keep in mind that my carpet is gray and beige, so it hides dirt well. But the fact that it's so much brighter is undeniable proof that this machine does a great job. // Easy to learn? Yes. After a while, you'll get the hang of it and know when to release more shampoo on areas that need the extra treatment. But it's easy to use. // Easy to maneuver? Yes! It's light even with a full gallon of water. And it's just like a vacuum. It's surprisingly maneuverable and smooth. No kinks in the motion. Very smooth. // Long cord? Yes. My living room is huge (the furniture is still in the living room in the picture, not in another room), and I only had to plug it in another socket to get around the furniture. // How often to refill? This depends on how fast you are cleaning. Normally you want a slow, deliberate pace. I can go for 10-15 minutes before needing to dump the water. // *** When do I refill? *** You'll know when when it's time to refill when 1: You hear the suction sound change to just being a motor around 2: You'll stop seeing water being pulled in when you back up 3: The orange ball in the dirty water reservoir has risen to the hole. This is a sign that the dirty water is as high as it can go, and the cleaner will stop sucking in more dirty water. // Easy to pour and refill? Yes. You'll develop a quick change routine: pour dirty water; rinse sink while refill water is getting hot; refill and go. There is almost no way to over fill. The engineering has angled the reservoirs in a way that makes this extremely difficult. // Shampoo If you have a big house, I'd say get more than 64 oz of shampoo. There's nothing wrong with having leftovers. For a normal house, 64 should do all the rooms. // Sturdy? Very. I didn't have any mishaps but I stepped on the hose and it did not break. // Stairs? Attachments? I didn't do the stairs yet (hey, my house is big) but I tested the attachments and they are up to the task. The hand scrubber tool has lots of brushes and they rotate with power! I did my couch and it scrubbed out a stain I didn't think would come out. Anyway, I'm tired of writing. Just get it. If this doesn't tell you it's worth it, I don't know what will. I'd like to be with some ladies right now but instead I'm taking the time to write this review because I'm so impressed with it. If you don't like it, you can return it, and you're covered with 2 year warranty, I think. The game I'm watching on the TV just mentioned a Slurpee. Maaan I want one of those right now. You should get one after you get this because you can clean up any mess you make. Read more

I bought this to replace my rug doctor, which broke apart after years of use (of course it broke halfway through cleaning the living room carpet). I will state right off the bat, the rug doctor gave a deeper clean. That said, the rug doctor was significantly more expensive. When I looked up the cost of a new one, I couldnt justify it for the only 4 rooms in our home that are carpeted. After watching several review videos, I opted for the Hoover Power Scrub deluxe. I liked the rotating round brushes. It does take a couple more passes to clean as deep as the rug doctor did, but it does a fair job. Pulled a lot of dirt out of the carpets. I was pretty impressed. I find it far easier to maneuver than the rug doctor, as the handle can be released with a foot paddle. Same for the power button. The trigger to spray is also easy to use. Much lighter to carry up and down the stairs as well. Overall, Id say it much more convenient to use than our old machine. Additionally, it does boast that the machine has heated air to dry your carpets faster. Whenever I'd use the rug doctor, our carpets would be wet for many hours. This machine they are dry within a couple hours or less. Only con for me is that the machine does feel a little cheap. But it works well despite this. I have no regrets. We are a multi pet home and having something that can clean unexpected messes is a must. The upholstery attachments are nice as well. Overall, I'd recommend this machine. Just make sure you go slowly over areas you are cleaning. If you go quickly like a regular vacuum it won't do a good job, same as any carpet cleaner. Read more
The Hoover PowerScrub Deluxe does a genuinely good job at deep cleaning carpets. I used it on high-traffic areas and old stains, and the difference was noticeable after just one pass. The brushes work well, and the carpet dries faster than I expected, which is a big plus. The included tools are useful for upholstery and stairs, and the cleaner solution that comes with it works well without leaving a strong chemical smell. It definitely feels like a machine designed for real cleaning, not just surface freshening. That said, it’s not perfect. The unit is fairly bulky and takes up a decent amount of storage space. It’s also louder than a regular vacuum, and filling/emptying the water tanks can get messy if you’re not careful. Pros: • Strong cleaning power • Noticeable results on stains and high-traffic areas • Good attachments for stairs and upholstery • Carpets dry relatively quickly Cons: • Bulky and heavy to move around • Loud during use • Water tanks could be easier to handle Overall, this is a very effective carpet cleaner for homes with pets, kids, or heavy use. It’s not the most compact or quiet machine, but the cleaning performance makes up for it. Read more
Excellent carpet cleaner. This machine cleans really well and removes a lot of hidden dirt. It’s easy to use, has strong cleaning power, and leaves carpets looking fresh and clean. The attachments are very useful for stairs and upholstery. Great value for the price, highly recommended. Read more
So far the best carpet cleaner yet. Easy to assemble and understand. Cleaned several stains that other machines failed to do. Dry time for the carpet was very short. I liked the fact that it mixed the cleaning solution and water as needed. Reviews talked about the tank being small, even if cleaning a whole room , refilling the tank and dumping the dirty is quick and easy. Never have I seen the extracted water come out so dirty. I finally have found the right Machine for me. Read more
