I work in a hospital and we do have blankets almost similar to these. But ours are a bit heavier and thicker than these. Surprisingly, a lot of our patients actually like these type of blankets. The blanket I got is off-white. The material apparently is made out of 85% cotton and 15% polyester. They do not look like the ones on the product description. It came out of the package looking like a used and wrinkly thick cheese cloth. Stitches are not great but seems to be durable. I'm not a big fan of how it looks but it's just the right feel of rough and soft for me. It is breathable but I think is a bit too thin. It seemed to have gotten thinner after the wash. I do question how long I can use this blanket. It has decent value priced at $17 especially when compared to other blankets here on Amazon. Read more

Apparently unbleached, natural cotton has a tendency to have a strong odor. I had to look it up. I washed this blanket 3 times and still there's a faint scent. I probably should've used vinegar to wash it the first time, but I didn't have it. After washing and drying 3 times, there's a bit of pilling. This blanket's best feature is that it's really soft on the skin. I also like that it's natural and not stark white, just a preference. Being really lightweight and cotton, it'll come in handy for summer nights when I sleep with the window open. It'll be just enough to keep me warm but not get hot. During the winter, this blanket would be more like an extra layer sheet, rather than an actual blanket. A 2-pack at this current price would be a fair value. Read more
