We bought this Hot Bee train set to place under our Christmas tree, and it has been absolutely spectacular. We’ve used it every Christmas, and it has become part of our holiday tradition. The lights, sounds, and smoke effect make it really fun and magical, especially for kids. It runs smoothly around the tree and keeps children entertained for a long time. This was so fun!! My grands loved it. The horn and the steam were an extra special treat. The track went together easily and had plenty to fit all the way around a large tree with a wood box skirt around it. Was sturdy and stayed on the track well enough for the price. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I like about the trainset and the train sounds realistic. It looks like polar express and I can put a little toy in the carrier. The media could not be loaded. While it’s super fun and very festive, the quality of the train itself isn’t the best. The plastic parts and the train body are well made, but the steam feature stopped working after just a couple of uses. Another issue is the battery compartment — it doesn’t fully close and kind of sticks out, which is a bit annoying - the train sometimes doesn’t respond as the battery is getting kinda loose and not fully aligned inside, so you have to push on that cover. The sounds are fun, but the train isn’t very stable and you really have to line it up carefully on the tracks for it to run properly. It’s a fun toy for toddlers (especially knowing they tend to be rough with toys anyway), but if you’re buying it specifically for a Christmas tree setup, I’d probably invest in something sturdier. Cute. Returned it because it kept coming off the tracks and it is louder than expected. I’m too old to be crawling on the floor under the tree to reset it. Also it is too loud to have on with the TV or music. Also, a bit too fragile for our pre school Grandson. Other than that, it’s very cute and works well (when on tracks).Whistle blows, engine sounds, forward and reverse all good. Only had it up a few minutes and had to put it back on tracks twice and only took that long to realize it was too loud for what we wanted. Just wasn’t for us. Read more
