I finally chose right. I have made room food mac n cheese twice and heated up chicken curry n rice so far. This little cooker is the right size and will boil on the warm setting. I havent dared use the high setting yet. So you know, this is NOT a slow cooker, looks like one but do not walk away from this while on, it will bring to a boil pretty quick with lid on. I appreciate the lid having 3 little holes for venting, i used it as a collateral duty of draining the pasta also, worked. Im very happy with it, easy clean up.
