Lots of fun and pretty much what I expected. The cats love it. Steering is kind of strange - you can’t turn when backing up and when you go to turn it makes it go forward as it turns. You have to pulse the accelerator button to get it to go straight as it wants to turn via torque if you keep it pressed down. Once you learn these nuances it’s not too hard to control. My kid loves it I also enjoy it! It works perfectly with Hot Wheels tracks, on floor it does donuts, only concern is that the two front wheels does not steer and the car battery does not last that much but I guess is because that car has a lot of power that little thing run and it has a boost button to go faster, but rather than that is a fun and great RC plus is Ferrari. These things are great! 3yr old nephew loves them and could operate them (not expertly - but turn, go forward, and boost forward) just fine. Put it in a track - and he loved to just boost it away full speed the whole time. They're storing enough to be fast, work on normally thick carpeting, do ramps, jumps, handle a loop-de-loop on any hot wheels track (the ones with their own speed chutes don't work well with these - just unpowered normal track works best). The auto-turn stick makes turning a breeze for kids, and I'm jealous it took this long for them to finally make a self-propelled Hot Wheels car! Battery time is decent - you'll definitely not want to lose the tiny and proprietary charging cable though! Read more

Great car, much better than previous models that broke or died soon after purchase. Battery life is okay, only about 15 minutes to recharge enough for kids to play. Stay on a. track; freestyle use isn't very easily controlled and do NOT use on rugs -- it will ruin the tires. Read more

When I ordered this car, I had never seen a Hot Wheels remote control car before so I didn't know what to expect. I was delighted! My 5-year-old grandson loves it! The remote control is easy to work even with small hands, and the car goes FAST! I think that was the biggest surprise! My biggest concern is that it goes so fast and so far that we'll lose it, but so far that hasn't happened! Lots of fun! Good value. Read more
