We purchased a HotLogic 400 and the first unit we received seemed to be defective. The lights turn from blue to red to indicate the slot is ready to be used, but the top unit stayed blue. We went through Amazon's exchange and received another unit within a few days without any hassle and the new unit seems to be working great. The things I love about this macrowave are: 1.) You can put your lunch in it in the morning as you are getting ready for work or school, and it will be hot and ready for you when you get home, and it tastes more like a fresh cooked meal than a microwaved plate of leftovers. 2.) Kids can heat their favorite things like Hot Pockets or TV Dinners and they cook evenly, no more scorched macaroni while your chicken is still frozen in the middle. 3.) I make up my own "TV Dinner" style meals a week in advance, and it makes is so easy to just grab one, toss it in the HotLogic, and go, making sure we eat healthy, portioned meals most of the time. It has made eating better so much easier. The thing I don't love about this macrowave: 1.) The size of the slots. The slots only accommodate a dish of up to 2.25" in height, making it a little difficult to find good containers to make my pre-portioned dinners in to freeze and refrigerate, but I think the small slot size may have to do with keeping the temperature controlled. Other than that, I highly recommend the HotLogic, and I know it has made my life much easier since my husband ordered ours. Plus, it only costs pennies to operate, so not only does it work better than a microwave, but it is much cheaper to use! Read more

This is the most amazing product. We use this almost every day and it is the best purchase ever. I was very impressed when I received my shipment. The manufacturer took care to make sure that the unit was properly protected during shipment. It is ready right out of the box. Just plug it in and your ready to go. It paid for itself in the first month easily. You can put your dinner on a shelf in the morning and it is ready at dinnertime. The food is warm and evenly cooked every time. It has saved me so much money on being able to use leftovers and not having to go to a drive thru for dinner. The flexibility in cooking so many things keeps us from having the same things each week. I love the concept and the way it works but there are some problems in opinion. The shelves are not large enough to hold a normal size plate or about 80% of my dishes or cookware. The shelves are not adjustable and they are not very tall to begin with and most of my dishes/cookware do not fit. Read more

Bought this so the kids could have a hot lunch during the summer. Wife was puzzled why we need such a thing. So far, has done an incredible job on frozen lasagna. Cooked all the way without any burnt cheese or hard noodles. In fact, I didn't even think it was done and left it in a little longer. Did scrambled eggs overnight and I thought that they were a little dry and over done. Frozen broccoli and cheese sauce was perfect. Did the chocolate steel oats from their blog recipe site and didn't care for it. Never had steel oats before, so maybe it is something I just don't like. So far, for me, it works best on frozen food. Biggest complaint is there is not a lot in the way of recipes for this thing yet. I do love being able to cook several different things at once and being able to eat when I want, not when the meal is finished. Read more
