This Screwdriver is basically exactly what I was looking for. I have a much easier time disassembling computers with this screwdriver than I did with my old manual one. The ability to set torque and the light are very convenient features. However, I do have a few minor complaints about the "design" that they so proudly highlight on the front of the case. First, the lid. In almost every other screwdriver set I've used, the lid has a lip and can double as a tray for loose screws, really useful when you're taking apart a computer with 15 screws holding the chassis together. The lack of a lip here means that I need a tray tool to start repairs. Second, the bit storage. I understand that having a magnetic tray for the bits is really slick, but it makes it really hard to remove the bit I want to use, and reduces the magnetic effects of the metal. Even with the included little strip to magnetize bits, the magnetic power is not as strong as other bits I've used. Lastly, the charging. I understand that this would add cost and complexity, but being able to charge the screwdriver while its in its case would be a huge convenience. I'd accept being able to simply thread the cable into the case, but ideally the case would have a battery built in and use a system similar to whats used on wireless headphones to charge the screwdriver. If an item highlights a "design", I expect it to have a level of thought and intent that sets it above less premium items that anticipates how the product will be used, not just fancy features to fill out a product sheet. Nice, compact electrical screwdriver. Easy to use and operate. The light at the end (of the tunnel) does help in small dark areas. Have not had the product long enough to say anything about the overall quality of the built in battery, but am not expecting any issue. Case is very nice. Would buy other products from HOTO. The product does what it says it does. It has good torque. In my opinion, the flashlight's illumination could be improved a bit more, as well as the quality of the magnetization. Read more

The magnet in this driver is weak, even when using the case to remagnetize the bits. The magnets in the Hoto and Ifixit manual drivers are much better. The light in this driver is too dim to be of much use. Read more
