Hotop 30 Pcs Replacement L2 R2 Trigger Button Springs with Storage Box Silver Metal Trigger Button Spring Compatible

I had one of the early revisions of the Gamesir Super Nova controller that had the bad trigger springs. The right trigger spring broke after about six months of use. They sent a warranty replacement quickly but didn't require me to send in the old one. So I decided to try to replace that spring and gave these springs a try. Installing them was easy once I realized the R1 bumper needed to be removed in order to get full access to the trigger. They don't have as much tension as the original spring did so that takes some getting used to. I don't know if these springs will last long term but getting so many at a low price I shouldn't have to worry about running out for a long time even if they have a short life span. I would recommend these springs if they are compatible with your controller and you feel comfortable taking it apart. At least with the Gamesir Super Nova they are easy to install (remember to remove the R1 bumper first!). The tension isn't quite as high as with the original spring but that's not a big deal and isn't worth knocking off any stars. Read more

These are great. Just replaced them for my ps5 and couldn’t tell they weren’t OEM. I’d recommend to anyone to buy these and a ps5 tool kit (found one for 10 bucks) even if your controller isn’t broken because it will break eventually and Sony still charged you 20 bucks to ship it to them even if it’s under warranty. Its a great value for 30 PS5 controller springs in a plastic box and far cheaper than tossing a controller. One star deducted as they are a bit less firm to my feel than the OEM springs. Read more

*UPDATE 3/21/2022* Here is an update to the replacement springs I had bought for the L2 and R2 buttons on my my PS5 controller: the springs I installed have yet failed, "Mind you that out of the 30 piece set I am still using the very first two springs," and are still very tough and sturdy. As of right now I am, exactly, 100% confident that the 30 piece set of replacement springs were the best choice I made because at first I was thinking about buying a whole new controller, "Another $70 controller 🙄." Don't think and just purchase this spring set because you literally have nothing to lose because really how often do you ever hear of the back button springs ever breaking...? Yeah, buy them! What the title says is it because I am unable to think of anything else. Also there are no negative thoughts that come to mind because there haven't been any negative instances as of installing the new springs, and having been using the PS5 controller extensively since the repair. When I took apart my ps5 controllers and went to replace the trigger springs, I noticed that the OEM spring in the controller was heavy duty by comparison so I did not replace them. The springs probably could work, I don't know, I am not using them. If you're not looking for an exact replacement then I think these will work. Read more
