The material that the backpack is made from is soft and smooth, but it’s also very thick and super durable. This backpack looks and feels very high-end and expensive. The straps are adjustable and cushioned, so they are very comfortable to wear. There is also a handle on the side of the backpack so you can pick it up and move or carry it with ease. This travel backpack set is very effective and efficient. The backpack is perfect for daily use, but it is also ideal for traveling. It’s super lightweight, but also super sturdy. This set includes three travel cubes, which are great for saving space and organizing your belongings. The travel cubes are well made and high quality. They seem extremely durable. The travel cube set includes three sizes that fit perfectly together. This set is the perfect way to stay organized and tidy while on-the-go. The zippers work flawlessly. Like the backpack, the zippers are also very durable. This backpack has multiple pockets. There are smaller outer pocket and a larger interior compartment (a “main” compartment). In the larger, main interior compartment, there are elastic straps that can be used secure your belongings and/or the travel cubes once you pack them up. The elastic straps keep all of your stuff nice, neat, safe, and secure. The straps also prevent your belongings from bouncing around inside the bag and breaking or otherwise becoming disorganized. There is a small mesh pocket on the outside of the bag that can hold a water bottle, which is very convenient for both daily use and for traveling. This backpack keeps your belongings super secure because it not only zips fully closed, but it also includes security straps and buckles around the outside that prevent the backpack from coming open (or being opened by someone else while you are wearing the bag). This makes me feel very secure in terms of packing this full of all of my essential belongings, knowing that they are safe inside the bag. This backpack is TSA approved, which is very important for traveling. It’s compact and can fit over a larger piece of luggage, or it can be used as a carry-on. It can fit beneath an airplane seat, which is really cool. This backpack has a much larger storage capacity than it first seems. While it is super compact and lightweight, thus making it easy to carry, it can also hold a ton of stuff. It is waterproof and water resistant. There is also a separate interior pocket that is sealed and waterproof, so you can use that compartment to store liquid toiletries, and if they leak during travel, the liquid products won’t get all over your stuff and ruin it. This is my second piece of luggage from this company and I think they have both been really lovely. This one is typical backpack or weekender size. It is lightweight, but durable, and feels like it may be water-resistant (check the description, but it feels like it to the touch). The material feels smooth & soft, like a tent material, not toothy, like a carpet or canvas bag, if that makes sense. While you could definitely use it as a school pack or a work bag, I think it really shines as a girl's trip or weekend bag. It opens both vertically for use as a backpack, and also horizontally to load it like you'd load a suitcase. If using it as a weekend bag, there are outside compression straps and those cross-straps inside that push your clothes down to help it close better. The zippers are strong. I tested it! The zipper also matches the fabric of the ag and has a shiny gold finish. It's really thoughtfully made and includes three (3) inside packing containers. Two are rectangular and the third is more like a hanging bag for the closet, maybe - or for laundry of personal items it has a hanging handle. Here's why I say it's so thoughtfully made: The inner seam linings and the zippers of the three inside ouches match the external color of the bag. They didn't just throw in some pouches. They look coordinated. And, there's also an inside waterproof pocket for liquids, a wet swimsuit, or dirty shoes, etc. There also is a comfort padding on the shoulder straps, but there's a side handle, like if you wanted to carry it more like a briefcase.
