This is a great buy and a great box. Its solid and heavy. It appears like a quality build. We will see about longevity. I must admit it even has the furniture smell. I do understand this was not built like a restoration hardware item, its more of a product from Wickes. Parenthetically, wickes had good stuff at affordable prices. Its great at what it does at an affordable price. The packaging is nice too. The cover is actually glass. Watch pillows fit my watches. I could see for smaller wrists clasps may not fit. I have 7.5 in wrists and my watches fit the pillows perfectly. That should be taken into account. Read more

I bought this as a gift for my husband. He like big watches with large faces. This watchbox checked all his needs. The quality is top tier, the pillow are very large, the stitching is very clean and the distance between the watch face and the glass is enough to accommodate thicker watches. The quality of this case is beyond amazing and you can see it in every detail and area! The leather looks and feels of high quality and they use actual glass in the lid! You get what you pay for and this was definitely worth it. Plus the packaging on this was above and beyond great. Unpacking this was a special moment. All my watches have big dials, 40mm and bigger. The watch holder area is spacious enough that it keeps my watches from touching one another. So I don't have to worry when taking them in and out ever. The pillows are plush enough that they keep the watch in place and even after having this case for a year, the pillows all still look great. The jewelry area is a nice added bonus as I am a woman and have certain jewelry pieces that mean more to me than others that I like showing off. I love how it looks and it's able to accommodate all that I needed to place in. I call it my treasure chest lol. Love the carbon fiber look, the feel of opening a vault of valuables and the feel of me getting ready for the day as I am grabbing my suff out of it. The only thing keeping me for doing a 5 star is that the cushion of the watches does not stay in place. Meaning when I place a watch in the slot, the watch will tilt to the direction where it's heaviest because the slot won't hold the cushion from moving. Overall a great purchase I still recommend.
