I own an HP OfficeJet 5258. No doubt an HP classic. Most times I've ordered the HP 63 Black/Tri-color Ink (2-pack). Once in a while I've ordered only the 63 Black when I used insurmountably more Black ink than color. Either way, the cartridges never failed me. They're easy to install once you know how. The cartridges, in my experience, are airtight, don't leak, and have reasonable longevity depending on use. My last purchase of these cartridges was in April 2025 prior this July 2025 purchase. But the cartridges from April 2025 are still holding up [as clean and clear as they were in April. I ordered this July 2-pack because of the early warning prompt from my HP InkJet 5258. Nothing beats genuine HP Printer Ink. Yes. It’s expensive, but it works every time that I have used it. I had previously used off-brand printer ink, and when it worked, it worked fine. When it didn’t, it didn’t. It was a 50/50 chance it would work. Had me thinking there was something wrong with my printer. Now that I know the genuine HP Ink always works, I will probably be purchasing the XL from Costco moving forward. Read more

Since I refuse to trade in my old Office Jet 3830 at this time (lol) I have to purchase ink cartridges that fit this machine. On amazon I know I will receive the authentic and official ink and it arrives overnight so when I am in need it is very convenient. This ink package is also NOT INSTANT INK. (I was an instant ink member and do not personally recommend). These are the real thing and they are easy to use and last a long time for the amount I use! Read more
