Super comfortable and quiet keyboard! I love the low profile of the keys, and the actual dimensions of the keyboard. Most really decent keyboards are either super bulky, super expensive, or super loud and clunky. This one is hands down has to be my favorite! Read more
Had this wireless HP keyboard/mouse combo for about a month now, using it with my compact work laptop, and I'm very happy with the purchase. The mouse is fine/adequate, maybe even a little clunky, but it's the keyboard I want to crow about. Started out buying cheaper wireless KBM sets (onn, Logitech), but I wasn't happy with (mostly) the keyboard feel I was getting until this one, so I have found my Goldilocks Keyboard. My (engineering) work laptop is a compact model which omits the side number keypad, and I truly hate doing my number keying on the top number row, especially when attempting rapid successions of number strings with mathematical operators (*, -, /), so I was looking to add a wireless keyboard to get the number pad back. It's funny what you get used to and how your body can (sometimes) adapt to changes in your environment. I was very much used to the high-key feel of my PC keyboard for many years and hated the limited "feedback" sensation I was experiencing with those low laptop keyboards, so I always dreaded the times I was forced in my work situation to use a laptop for engineering work away from my desk. A few years ago, I started working for a new employer where my only computer was a laptop, so I eventually transitioned from hating the low keyboard feel to accepting it, then actually preferring it. All that to explain WHY this is my Goldilocks. Two years ago I would have surely reported hating it, for the "key-feel" alone. I read the negative review by "Yum yum turnips" (hilarious title!), and fortunately I've not had any of those issues so far, despite daily hammering the snot out of it; no key lag or cursor "gallivanting" that I've been able to detect. I guess the only minor complaint I have is the missing Pr Scrn button (sorry kids - using that Snipping tool is several more inefficient keystrokes slower than the super quick and efficient PrScr or PrScr/Alt combo), but I make up for it by simply using the Pr Scrn on my laptop, so maybe it's half a notch below Goldilocks, but still pretty darned good. Let me add that I agree with senior turnips regarding the overly-narrow keyboard width, it is tricky picking it up w/o pressing something you shouldn't. But since I'm locking down my computer before turning the keyboard off, any inadvertent keying doesn't do anything anyway, so I'm out of the woods on that one. I gave this 4 stars based on averaging 3 stars for the chunky-clunky-not-so-spunky mouse and 5 stars for the just-go-to-your-happy-place keyboard. ;-)) Read more

I've only had the keyboard and mouse set for a couple of months, return window passed. These are in fact made in China, even though HP has tried to move out of there. It shows. Both KB and M stop working for 4-5 sec at a time about every 2 minutes. They seem to be doing a hard reset of the IRQ because when it happens, I can hear a tap sound in the speakers. Swapping to an older setup stopped this. I guess I'm not getting rid of wires, the tech isn't good enough, not when it's made in China anyway. Other problems, there's no way to put down or pick up the keyboard without pressing the keys, so I invariably activate the emoji button or the microphone, or the screenshot.... or lock the screen. Why does a full size keyboard need to be also compact? That's just crazy design. It should be comfortable. HP failed the obvious flaw test this time. Even if they only saw a picture of the design it should've been clearly flawed. You have to hold Fn to then press any F key, so it's Fn-F12 if you want to get into the boot options for example. Which is pretty nutty. Cool that it works wirelessly at all, but try typing that at the correct moment quickly. It's super slow, I have to slow my touch typing or it just stops accepting input for around 5 seconds. Other times I have to find the key that's stuck down whiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiile it types a long line like that. Then there ar the skipped letters like that. Happens a lot, about 30 times a day. I kept thinking it was Windows 11 or wireless, or there was some fix. There's no fix. This KBM set is just bad. A reboot fixes it for about an hour then it's back to bad behavior. Pure junk, do not buy it. Clearly marked Made in China on the back of the Keyboard and I can't find any maker's mark on the mouse at all. HP should pull every one of these off the market. And offer a recall for those who tried to find a fix and let their refund period expire. Total junk. Read more
Used almost one year! Very responsive! Read more
I've used a lot of keyboards and mice over the years, and I'm glad that I got this wireless combo from HP. I've been using quite a few HP computers over the past few years, so it makes sense to get up on their keyboards and mice too, and this combo just makes sense. They're both sturdy and well made, and the battery life for both components is very nice, too - I can get months of continuous use out of both my keyboard and mouse before I have to swap out the old batteries for new ones. This combo is so good that I intend to get a few more just to have on stand by - definitely a great buy! Read more
