I had a blah mossy green throw pillow in the chair in my workshop, and I was just kinda tired of it. But it was in good shape and there was nothing wrong with it, so I didn't feel justified replacing it. Enter these lovely velvety throw pillow covers. They're soft and pretty with such vivid, saturated color. They're sewn straight, with no threads hanging. There was no smell of any kind in the fabric like you sometimes get ordering online. The zipper is heavier duty than others I've seen on pillow covers, but still well hidden, and it worked perfectly. It was not too hard to get my old pillow inside the cover and just took a couple minutes. The pillow I covered was more like 19"x19" but it fit in the 18"x18" cover just fine, just made it look extra full. I'm so much happier with it now. It's a lot brighter than my old one. See before and after photos. Bonus: I have three cats, including a Maine Coon, and these seem to never get cat hair on them?? It must be magic. Material was extremely soft and nice to touch. So I read in home decorating websites that if I’ve a 20x20 cushion, I should buy a 18x18 to make it look fuller and tighter. Hence, that’s what I did and I don’t recommend it. By purchasing a smaller cushion cover for my cushion pillow, it was a very tight squeeze and the seems felt like it was bursting. That said, the cover was filled up to the brim and it felt great laying on it. I hope over time, the seams or zipper won’t burst. Read more
These pillow covers in museum taupe are so very soft. The velvet fabric has a nice shine to it The color is a very pretty beige that goes well with my brown leather sofas. It looks classy ant it easy to match with other colors and designs. I love pillow covers. They take very little space and they make decorating for the season easy.
