this is for my husband it was time for a gaming desk upgrade and we love it. there’s also an extension cord to the desk where you can plug things in and i put pictures bellow of the lowest height to the highest the desk goes. it could literally be a standing desk. it’s very high quality, sturdy, roomy, and the cable management was a must because of our cats. can’t wait to see how his monitor set up and pc looks with it. i use the desk also. The desk originally arrived damaged, but customer support was excellent—they quickly sent me a replacement with no hassle. Once I received the new one, assembly was fairly straightforward. Since the desktop comes in three pieces, I was initially worried about alignment issues (as I’ve had problems with that before), but everything lined up perfectly. I'll have to see how well it holds up over the years, especially since I tend to take it apart and reassemble it when I move. That said, I really like the built-in power strip—it makes it super convenient to plug in chargers and other desk accessories. The included cable management tray is also a great feature, helping keep everything organized and off the floor. One of the biggest pluses for me is the desk’s modular design. You can set up the long side on either the left or right, which is perfect for someone like me who moves often and needs flexibility in layout. A few notes: Raising or lowering the desk isn’t very quiet—it’s not terrible, but loud enough to startle my dog. The included cable management adhesives are basically useless. They fall off quickly and there aren't nearly enough of them, even to manage the desk's own cables—let alone all the extra wires from my PC setup. I ended up buying better-quality cable clips from Amazon, which made a big difference. Lastly, the power transfer wires for the motors are too short. If you try to keep things tidy with cable management, the wires end up sitting just above your legs or knees. This makes it easy to accidentally bump into them, which can pull them loose from their mounts or even stress the wires enough to cause damage over time. I actually want to buy a second one Cons: ALL of the problems with this purchase are related to how TERRIBLE Amazon shipping is. The delivery person carelessly left the desk in a public unsecured area, and I (5'4 110lbs) ended up having to drag this 80lb box half a mile to the elevator. I work from home and, unfortunately, spend a lot of time sitting at my desk. I finally decided to take the plunge and ordered this convertible desk so I could alternate standing and sitting. It comes unassembled, but I was able to put it together in about two hours with easy-to-follow instructions. all the pieces were included (we've all been there), and there were even extra bolts and such in case something got lost. The holes were pre-drilled in the underside of the top, which made putting it together so much easier. It looks great, a combination of rustic and modern with the wood top and black metal frame and moves up and down to the easy-to-set preset heights (that I can change as many times as I want) pretty quietly. Desk looks really nice and works well if you follow the instructions- plus it’s modular, so you can switch which side is the longest. All that said, this desk is a PAIN to put together by yourself because of how many screw you have to put in to connect all the parts. I would definitely recommend getting an electric drill/screw driver before purchasing this. I’m fairly proficient at putting together furniture, but this still took me somewhere between 2-3 hours to complete. Read more
