Solid style with a pop of color
I finally accepted I'm old, my vision sucks, and I need reading glasses. My nose is always in a book, has been since I was 4 years old. So, I went to the dollar store and purchased a couple basic pairs. And now I'm sold on reading glasses and I pretty much use them for everything. Why strain my eyes unnecessarily? Since becoming a reading glasses convert, I decided I needed something more stylish and functional. I probably went through 10 pages of glasses on Amazon. This pair stuck out to me for the price, style, and functionality. I don't need 20 pairs of reading glasses for $10. I wanted a sturdy, stylish pair of glasses or two. And these ticked off all the requirements. They look good and they're not super expensive. They are sort of retro meets modern in style. Honestly, I really wanted the emerald green glasses and the black ones were just a bonus. And I really love the green ones. I wear them most of the time. They are a beautiful shade of translucent emerald green. They are pretty dark but stand out in the sunlight or bright lights. But, I have received compliments while wearing both colors. Because I use them mostly for reading, I have not had a chance to notice the effect on blue light. But I appreciate that these reading glasses offer that too. The frames are large and thoroughly cover both eyes. They are not too heavy, or at least I have not noticed them to be so. They don't slip down the bridge of my nose nor do they squeeze my temples, which I have noticed other glasses do. Because I love these so much, I will probably not need to buy anymore reading glasses for a long time unless I get bored with the color and style, which I doubt. Read more
