I’ve bought a lot from Huckberry over the years, and Flint and Tinder in particular has earned a lot of trust with me. Their stuff tends to be simple, well made, and just flat out solid, and this shirt fits right into that pattern.I think I'm more impressed because this is one of those pieces I probably wouldn’t have grabbed on my own. For whatever reason, crewneck shirts with these pockets aren't totally my style. However, I’m glad it found its way into my closet. I went with the black color, and the first thing to call out here is the fabric. A lot of shirts advertise themselves as 'heavyweight'...but that usually comes at the sacrifice of general comfort. That's not the case here. This is not a thin tee pretending to be something more, but it also doesn't feel constraining or breathable. The stitching is clean, tight, and consistent. I didn't notice any loose threads or sloppy seams anywhere. Just like all of their other offerings, this thing feels built to last. And after wearing it for a few hours and it had. 'broken in' it really started to make sense. It manages to balance comfort, substantiality, and general fit in a way that I've found similar style shirts don't. Fit-wise, I went with my usual medium. I’m 5'10 feet tall, about 165 pounds, and it landed right where I’d expect. I'll call out that I had to wash it to get it just right, but that was totally fine. The sleeves are spot on, and the the torso isn’t boxy...but also isn’t slim or restrictive. There’s some forgiveness baked in, which makes it easy to wear for long stretches without feeling like it gets stretched out or 'sloppy' looking. While it's heavyweight, set your expectations that this is definitely not a sweatshirt or sweater. Nor does it try to be. I would think about this as a serious long sleeve tee you might take on a camping trip or something with a t-shirt underneath. It's going to keep you warmer in cooler-ish weather, and it pairs particularly well with jeans and boots. Price-wise, at $68, it’s not cheap for a long sleeve shirt. But I can't stress enough how good this particular brand is. It's quality fabric, construction, and it’s made domestically. Given this, the price feels fair...like you're getting what you pay for...and it's definitely going to be in your closet for an extended period of time. Another strong entry from Flint and Tinder, and exactly the kind of understated quality I’ve come to expect from Huckberry. Read more
This is well-constructed and comfortable, but the shoulders are inconsistently wide across colors. I received two and the green bunches at the shoulder (seam problems), while the light gray fits nicely. They are slightly boxy at the waist, so as a muscular guy who has broad shoulders and a tight waist, they're not very flattering unless they're not layered. Read more
This is incredible. Maybe even indescribable. My first impression was that this shirt was made for someone who is in construction. It is weighty and very, very, very durable. It feels durable. It feels like they took 100 tee-shirts and compressed them into a single shirt. It's got length so it won't show off your waistline when you raise your arms or bend over. The material is strangely comfortable to wear despite how thick and weighty it is. Construction is perfect. It's also noticeably a high quality shirt. It stands out without being flashy or attention seeking. I am 5'7" and 185lbs. I ordered a large. The large is big on my but it still looks good. I would probably order a medium if I made another order. You won't go wrong with this shirt. It is incredible. Read more
Solid tank of a crewneck shirt. Feels nice and warm and thick. Do suggest sizing up as I feel like over time it will shrink as you wash it. Fit of it is fairly true to size maybe a bit on the relaxed side but not definitely not super oversized or anything like that. Overall great quality and price is a bit up there but hopefully it does last last Read more
A heavy-weight long sleeve tee shirt with a chest pocket was not an item I would have picked out for myself but this shirt grew on me after wearing it for a few hours. Right off the bat, it’s exceptionally well made. There’s no loose threads anywhere and all the stitching was small, tight & overall very well done. I went with my usual size, a medium, and felt that it was what I expected (I’m 6’, 185 lbs). The sleeves were not too short or long (I’m 35” sleeve) and the torso fit me as well. It’s not quite a boxy fit, nor is it slim fitting either - it’s forgiving if you’re a bit “soft.” It’s also not a sweater by any definition. This item is described as a long sleeve, heavy-weight long sleeve shirt and… that’s a pretty accurate description. It wears very well with a pair of jeans & boots. Not formal in the least but also not sloppily put together. I went with the dark olive color and I think it looks great. Not so “olive drab”, as if you’re coplaying as someone in the military & not a cartoonishly green either. Price-wise, $68 seems like a lot for a long sleeve shirt but considering its quality, feel & made domestically… I don’t think that’s an outrageous price really. Overall, I’m a big fan of this shirt… it’s one that I’ll keep reaching to wear time & time again in the colder months. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Read more

This heavyweight long-sleeve shirt has the qualities of a high-quality long sleeve T-Shirt. It can be worn on its own or under an burtton down overshirt. The fabric possesses a tangible weight. It is soft and comfortable. The fit is good. It's made in the USA. Our family has several pieces of clothing from this brand and it never fails to be high quality...and expensive. But you do get what you paid for. Read more
This shirt is exactly what a heavyweight long sleeve should be: thick, structured, and reliable. The fabric has real substance—none of that thin, saggy stuff that loses shape after two washes. It lands right in that sweet spot where it feels tough but still comfortable enough to wear all day. The fit is classic without being boxy, and the pocket gives it that easy, everyday look. It softens up just a bit after washing, but not enough to lose that premium feel. Perfect for fall walks, layering under a jacket, or just throwing on when you want something that feels well-made.
