I've been buying Hue leggings specifically for many years. I wear the hell out of the black Hue leggings, wash them a thousand times, and buy more when they start to get a little faded. For me, they're the best leggings I've found, and I've tried SO MANY BLACK LEGGINGS. Trust me. If you could see my Amazon order history, lemme tell ya, I've explored all possibilities in the black legging universe. Anyway, I recently saw a fit woman at a coffee shop wearing fitted black leggings in the sunshine and every lump and bump she doesn't even have was on display. It made me realize everyone's seeing all of my unimportant lumps and bumps in the right lighting, as well, and I don't love that mental image. So I thought, right, we need joggers. Loosen these puppies up just a bit while still keeping a slender silhouette. But I only trust Hue, I've been lead astray by others too many times. So I got these Hue joggers and now they have me and my laundry routine in an absolute chokehold. I'm washing them on gentle cycle like 3 times a week because I want to wear them constantly and don't want them to fade; so far so good. But I'm accepting that I need to buy 2 more pairs, I'm placing far too many demands on one pair of joggers. I love where the waist sits. I'm a high waist pants girlie, and these are that. You can use the drawstring to keep them in place, crucially. I've worn them to work in a proper office, I wear them around the house, I've slept in them, I've gone out to lunch in them, and they've seen MANY library visits already. I think a brown pair would also be a solid wardrobe addition, that'd be a color that would be really versatile in dressing them just a bit up if you want to. Like to brunch or something like that. These are the forgiving fit I was looking for. I'm a tall, slender gal but I mean we all have bits we don't necessarily want highlighted for all to see, and these are exactly what I wanted - the black legging life without SO MUCH of my business being on full display. Comfortable, flexible, soft and light. The black is a rich opaque colour They are precisely the joggys I was looking for. I wear them for work and casual traipsing abouts. While the tapering at the leg is welcomed I like to hike them up a bit and capri them and roll back down at whim. I tend to size up one for this reason. The pocket itself could have benefited for a fair bit more depth as my mobile fits only halfway this is casualwear after all, otherwise well done. Read more
