Bought this to replace a wooden desk chair I use at home that had outlived its welcome. We live in an old Arts & Crafts style house and wanted a chair with at least some amount of character. The wood structure of this chair fits that bill well even if it the overall design isn't Arts & Crafts. Chair arrived with pieces well-packaged and nothing missing. Instructions are reasonable decent but more than once say you should tighten the fasteners in sequence, but they don't provide a sequence. Also, there was an issue with the plate that attaches to the seat bottom with 4 bolts and connects the seat to the rolling leg assembly...the rear two bolt holes don't lay flat against the seat bottom. It's prevented from doing so by the bracket that attaches the seat back to the seat bottom. Not that big of a deal...I used washers to fill in the gap between the plate and seat bottom. As for usage, the chair is fairly comfortable, but not overly so. You can adjust tilt (both on/off and how much effort it takes to lean back) and chair height, but that's it. You can't adjust the angle of the seat back nor the height of the arm rests. Overall I'm pretty happy with it,but I'm deducting a star for the seat plate issue. Read more
