I already have jump starters similar to this one made by Yesper and NOCO, that I keep in my car and motorcycle, and I picked up this charger to keep in one of my trucks, since I have already used my other units to jump some vehicles and my tractor several times, and since we live rural, I feel this is a necessity. This unit claims to be 20000A. I have no way to test this, but this unit seems quite substantial with a lot more heft to this unit, so I believe the claims. This unit is just over 2-pounds and the readout on this is large and feature rich compared to those I have seen on other units, and it tells you battery capacity, as well as the charging and discharging. The dimensions are 9-inches long by 4-inches wide and 2-inches thick. The battery terminal clamps are also nice and burly compared to those offered by competitors. Where the rubber meets the road, or if the proof is in the pudding, is whether this can jump a dead battery. Well, I did not have a dead car battery to test, but I did have a dead Motorcycle battery installed in my lawn tractor that I needed to jump, so I gave this unit a go. It did work, and it worked very well. I believe I could do several jumps before I needed to recharge this because it was down only 10% after the one jump. The instruction manual that comes with this unit is very spartan but adequate to figure out how to use all the features, and it supports fast charging with a fast-charge cable and charger (sold separately). The included LED light, which has a white or red strobe function as well as an SOS flashing feature, is helpful as a marker for a broken-down vehicle. The ability to use it as a power bank with both USB-C and USB-A ports is a nice feature. It’s a very nice unit but quite a bit overpriced as compared to my similarly sized Yesper and NOCO units, which cost less than half the price of this unit. At this price, this unit should also have come with a storage case, but it does not. I also find that removing the port covers is extremely difficult and I need a flathead screwdriver to pry them off. But it is a reliable unit, and the size should work well for both small vehicles as well as very large trucks and tractors. Read more

I picked up this jump starter to keep in my car. I have an older car, and I like to be prepared. The instruction manual is bare bones. There is enough in it to figure out how to operate the device. It is a sturdy device that measures 9 inches long by 4 inches wide by 1.75 inches tall is a sold item that weighs two pounds (I weighed it on my postage scale). The device has a large readout which I appreciate (makes it easy for me). I like that it shows the battery capacity, so I know when to charge it. This item does jump a dead battery. My neighbor’s car would not start the other day, and it was obvious that it was the battery. I brought out this device to see if it would work. It just takes three steps. It did a great job. The device easily started their battery. I was surprised that the jump used less than ten percent of the devices charge. I like that it is mistake proof. I can also charge devices with this gizmo (with both USB-C and USB-A). It also has a built-in white LED light. There is a red strobe function plus there is a flashing SOS feature. I like that it is fully charged in ninety minutes. This device is a tad pricey but it has great features and performs well. I am glad that I picked up this smart jump starter. Read more
