It's study and well made, but as an EDC it could use more pockets. On the other hand, it's just the right size and shape to make a functional but unobtrusive EDC. Unlike the backpack or single sling types this one won't likely lead people to think you're packing, while at the same time one of the front compartments makes an ideal holster for a G-9 with Olight BALDR laser attached and reflex optic. Zippers are very functional insofar as allowing quick access if and when needed, but are nothing special. I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 only because it could use more pockets and provision for business card, pens and pencils. but whether you use it as a convenient EDC or a purse, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one if needed for a downsized EDC just because of those minor shorcomings. I have yet to find the perfect EDC bag. This one at least gets close enough for me to justify the price. Read more

These are nice bags. I was surprised at all I can fit in the compartments of this bag. One thing I like about this bag is I can run out in my sweatpants to the store and not have all my stuff in my pockets weighing my them down. About 20 years ago I gave up carrying a wallet in my back pocket. I started to use a small messenger bag, and then another and so on. I tried all sizes and makes. After several years of testing bags I settled on two good leather bags about the same size. These two I have still and use but they are quite heavy and are costly. I started to research different bags and came up with Humerpaul. The are much lighter but seem just as sturdy and are at a reasonable price. I orderd two, a black one and a brown one. I can now switch bags onece a week if I want. This is not a fashion statement. I just think a small messenger bag like Humerpaul's bags will come in handy.
