I am so impressed with these Hurley board shorts. As a plus sized woman it can be really hard to find swimwear that actually fits comfortably and still looks cute. These shorts check every box. The quality is incredible and the material feels so nice—lightweight but not flimsy and they dry super fast. They fit true to size with a little stretch and they don’t dig in or ride up which is a miracle. I feel confident wearing them at the pool or the beach chasing my kids around. They give good coverage without feeling frumpy. Honestly I’m tempted to buy a second pair because I love them that much. Comfortable. I wanted more coverage so i ordered the 7 " which is fine. With my hips the length was just tidy right. I don't need to "pull them down" to help cover my less than perfect inner thighs ;) They do dry quickly! Recvd on time. I think run a tad large. The large looks and fits like an extra large. I kept because I needed them. However, there is a gap in the back(like jeans). They're a tad pricey but you're paying for the name. I think the elastic should be tighter. Read more

I really like the style and fit of these shorts. I wanted something I could be in the pool or playing on the beach with my kids but keep me well covered. They aren't sheer, so they feel thick but the outside layer is not thick like typical swimwear. They were comfortable being poolside and walking around. They look like a cute board short, and someone was concerned I forgot to take my shorts off when getting in the pool! They stayed comfortable during a few cannon balls and the waist and inside layer didn't shift but I did need to adjust the legs slightly after jumping in. My thighs are slightly thick and they aren't too tight, but they are more snug than loose on me. They didn't ride up when I was waking around though. I wear these swim shorts all the time under my dresses in the summer because they are so comfortable. The size, fit, and waist height are perfect for a 50 year age. The fabric dries quickly after swimming. The cut of the shorts is flattering and the pockets are perfect. My iPhone fits in the pocket perfectly. They wash well with line drying and the fabric quality seems to be like new even after washing. I now own four pairs. Read more

True high waist which is a plus but it runs a bit large. Ordered the XS as usually a size 2-4, but have narrower hips and am not endowed with a booty (my butt is flat), so there was a lot of excess fabric. Finally, after ordering a bunch of different swim shorts, my quest is over! I kept striking out all last summer and dreaded trying again, but Hurley knows what they're doing: actual, durable, lightweight board shorts that dry quickly and don't snag. These are comfortable and flattering with well-placed pockets, so they've been fine to wear on walks and errands as well. The 5" inseam is just long enough to prevent chub rub on my inner thighs, but isn't so long that it looks awkward with a tankini. An unexpected bonus was finding that the cobalt blue matches/coordinates very well with most of the blues in the swim tops from this year and last year! These are tied for 1st in my favorites as far as swimwear goes. Comfortable, flattering - even if your not skinny! I am 5'3" - 160lb and carry my weight in the middle. I bought in a large but typically wear a medium. They are maybe a tad big so if you like a more fitted fit I would order true to size. I've gotten to where I like things a little loose so the large was perfect, not too tight and not too baggie. I have short legs (29" inseam) and I loved the 5" shorts. They fell mid thigh. These are GREAT for an active day at the beach or just hanging out. I plan to buy more just as regular daily wear shorts for the summer because they are THAT comfortable! There are built in underwear that I don’t think I would like but I actually love this!! I don’t wear these for swimming but for an everyday short because they are long enough & breathe. I’m an apple shape so instead of the normal xl that I wear I ordered a large & it fits great. I don’t dry them though only hang dry & wash in cold. If you are a pear shape, stick with your normal size. Definitely worth the money that I have 3 pairs. They are very airy & the built in undies never ride up. They stay in place. Read more
