This skirt is made of a soft, stretchy, medium-weight denim. Reasonable quality overall. It is longer than expected: I am tall, and the hem landed closer to my ankle than my knee. The cut is pretty much as pictured otherwise, a fairly wide a-line. I almost kept it, but: I don’t like the elastic at the back of the waist: the fabric is so stretchy, it’s unnecessary and it looks bad. It didn’t fit quite right over the hips. Plenty of room as I’d expect from the size chart, but not quite a good/flattering cut. Less stretch in the fabric, a little shorter overall, no elastic waist, better cut and I’d have kept it. I get lots of compliments on this skirt. It's thick, well-made denim, and there is a little stretch to the back of the waist! It's comfy and hits me about mid-calf. I'm 5'6". I weigh about 160 so I got an extra large for room in the waist. However, it's a little big, so I probably could have gone with the large. I didn't know about the stretch in the back of the waist!
