Actually very surprised! I thought it would be a lot smaller but it’s nice and large so it covers the eyes nicely! It has a soft silky backing with a pocket for a cooling pad. And the front is super fluffy and soft (lets not forget adorable!) The only con is that the strap is not adjustable! So beware if your worried about it being too loose or too tight. This is a great sleep mask! It is so soft, adorable, and my daughter loves it! It has become a permanent nighttime accessory! A must if you or your kid is looking for a sleep mask! It is a little large for my four year old but we were able to tie a knot in the strap and it works great and she will grow into it! Read more

NOT a blackout mask. If a layer of black fabric was included between the penguin/skin-side satin, it would be much better for light blocking. I sleep in a very dark room, so the lack of light blockage needed is minimal. But it’s soft and very comfy, plus adorable, and I’m happy with it! Read more

This item came when expected and it is just as the picture shows. My 10 year old daughter wears sleep masks to bed and left her last one at a friends house which led to this purchase.
