It's true to size, stretchy and with comfortable fabric. The fitting is fabulous, my daughter got a lot of compliments from friends. We have washed it many times now, unlike other school uniforms, it didn't shrink in size. This pant has quality construction and fits perfectly, but the fit was a bit more snug than what I was initially comfortable with. I sort of saw this as soon as I laid it out on my bed and noticed how small it was in the waist and seat area. I ordered a medium; but after trying them on, realized that I should've ordered a large. The upside is that the medium pant still fit very well because of the super stretchiness of the fabric, and it's not constricting or uncomfortable in any way. The fit is VERY flattering, but (IMO) isn't for long tops that you may typically tuck in. In my initial discomfort in the fit when first trying it on, I was at a crossroads of returning to exchange for a large; but in pairing with other tops in my wardrobe, this pant really looks cute with anything hanging out...regardless of length. I suppose the preference is in how you would like your pant to fit. The super stretchiness of the fabric allows for much flexibility in that. So I know that I can get by with wearing either a medium or a large given my size. I think that when I order another pair in a large, I will know (for certain) which size I will settle on from there. My daughter loves these pants in the khaki color for her school uniform. We have purchased them the last several years now. This summer, I went onto Amazon to purchase them for the new school year. I placed 2 separate orders for 3 pairs of pants in size SMALL. When I received the first order, the 2 pairs of pants were both XS. The tag on the inside of the pants says XS and there are also three additional tags placed on the pants that all say XS as well. But on one single tag, they took a little sticker with an “S” on it (for size small) and placed it over the XS size. Fortunately, there are several other tags that states they are in fact an XS and the tag inside the actual pants says XS. I went onto Amazon and requested a replacement ( that took an additional month to get here, way past the start of school), and unfortunately, the two replacement pairs arrived the same way! They both say XS inside the tag of the actual pants, all of the additional tags say XS with the exception of one little sticker with an “S”on it, that they placed over the XS. And then the OTHER pair that I ordered in July finally showed up extremely late, and I bet you can guess what size they were… EXTRA SMALL!!! Same thing! An XS indicator inside of the actual pants, several XS tags connected to the pants with a tiny little sticker covering the XS with an “S”. I’ve called Customer service several times. All they said they could do is a replacement or refund, that they could not guarantee that the problem would be fixed. They said they have no way of contacting the seller to let them know the problem, but they did offer me a phone number where I could reach the seller myself. So that’s what I tried to do just now and wouldn’t you know, the number is disconnected! Absolutely horrible customer service… The customer service is literally nonexistent! These pants are very comfortable and stretchy. I have only tried them on so far, but they feel like pants I could wear all day long and I plan on buying more pairs in other colors. I wish they had the short option available for size large when I ordered, because they are pretty long on me since I’m only 5’0”, but they fit great everywhere else. I usually wear size 14 jeans and it is hard to find pants that are not extremely baggy in the butt and leg area, but these fit snug without feeling like they are painted on.
