I love the slim fit of these shorts and the lovely fabric; however the sizing is off. I normally weigh 160 and am 5’1 and very comfortable in size large. That is also the size Amazon recommended when I ordered these based on my past purchases. I now weigh 150 and was expecting a very comfortable for being 10 pounds lighter, but these are very snug around the waist and the waistband rolls down. Also, no pocket! At least one of those would be handy. I ordered these in three different colors because I love the slim look of them so much and I will be keeping them….just need to wear loose blouses to disguise the muffin top they create. Length is great. Just what I wanted in a Bermuda short. Definitely order a size bigger than you normally wear. Read more

Got this in yellow, and it's a great summer color. Fit is a bit snug - I'm I'm 5'4", 126 lbs and ordered a medium. But it's stretchy and comfortable so I'll keep this one, and might order another color in large to compare fit. If you like loose fit, I'd size up. Read more

Let me start by saying I have the body type where I carry more weight in my tummy, and my legs are slim for my size. 200lbs 5’5”, but this review should be helpful, no matter what your body type is. I have a pair of these in 2X that I bought a year or two ago that are a bit snug, but fit well and stretch across the tummy and are not baggy in the legs. So I purchased a 3X this week, hoping for basically the same shorts with a tiny bit more wiggle room, and for my size they were extremely large. I was swimming in them, like clown pants on the legs (not on the waist band though). So I bought another pair this week in 2X, and guess what, the actual waistband is a tiny bit snug on me, but the hips and the legs are huge for what my body is working with. So, these are going to be great for women that are lucky enough to have a lot of junk in the trunk and thick legs. But for me, it’s back to the drawing board. Read more

I'm a 2X and like to have a bit of a less casual option from shorts where my knees are covered. Lots of stretch. Medium high waist. Cute with ruffly tunic top or boutique top, cute shoes, and chunky jewelry. As a teacher, there are days when I need a shorts alternative. Great for those who set up events, have active jobs, or need flex movement but can't wear shorts. I wish they had a little flare, as they are definitely narrowly fitted all the way down, but they look great with flowy blouses and chunky wedges. For the price, I'll buy every basic color and spend my money on specialty tops. If you move and bend A LOT, might want to consider sizing down one size. They do stretch out a bit by end of day. I don't know what has happened with this company! I previously purchased several pair of jeans/capris from this company and was extremely satisfied. However, I have now ordered and returned six pair of jeans/capris! This particular style runs very small and while they appear to be well made, they have very little stretch or give as advertised. The "lift your butt" kind fit but will not stay up over your butt! They kept sagging and we're very uncomfortable! I can't comment on whether or not they lifted your butt because I couldn't keep them pulled up! The "skinny jeans" were so tight from just above the knee down that I could hardly get them over my foot. The backside barely covered my derriere which made them feel like they were on backwards. I am sadly disappointed with the changes they have made to their garments. I am unable to change the height in this review but I am 5'10.5" and 186lbs. Read more
